Embattled Scientist
Once upon a time there was a scientist.
He was very brilliant, but very troubled.
He’d always heard voices in the back of his mind.
They would interfere with him when he studied.
But he could tune them out.

And let them shout through him.

And they started filling his box with cash.
Every day on that same street corner.
Thousands of dollars a day.
He was at peace.
The attractive scientist found him.
And took care of him while he shouted.
That is where he is today.
On the corner.

Traveling Money Maker
Once there was a salesman.
He traveled quite a bit.
Whenever he returned home, he would go to his favorite restaurant.
He would always go by himself.
The wait staff were friendly and helpful.
But most of the time, he enjoyed the ambience.
Particularly all the paintings hanging on the wall.
Hello Old Friend
They were of friendly people doing friendly things.
He felt like they were his friends.
That would always welcome him home.
He liked selling, and he always make good money.
But it was hard for him.
To always make new friends that he would never see again.

Soon, his sadness started to grow.
He wanted to quit his job.
But he didn’t know what he would do instead.
One day, when he went to his favorite restaurant.
All the people in the paintings.
Were looking at him differently.
He was afraid at first.
He thought he was losing his mind.

His started to be afraid of everything.
And the more he went to the restaurant.
The more seriously the pictures were looking at him.
Until one day, he walked in, and walked up his favorite picture.
And asked, what do you want?
The picture looked at him and said.
