There’s a very interesting psychological effect in sales letters.
The general idea is to pace the pain of the customer, and then take away the pain with the product.
There are many other strategies, but this is the most common.
For whatever reason, the more accurately you pace their pain, the more they’ll start to believe that you have the solution.
But it also works on desires.
The more you actively pace their desires, the more they’ll start to believe you can help them get it.
And one thing about humans is we have unlimited desires.
Not a lot of people will admit this outwardly, but we ALWAYS have to settle.
We will never achieve the ideal.
The ideal is something we are meant to STRIVE FOR.
Not really an achievable goal.
No matter how much you THINK you are moving into your dream house, you’ll find some things you wish were different.
No matter how much you THINK you are falling in love with your dream partner, you’ll find some things you wish were different.
But inside, in our heads, we can build our ideal dreams as big as possible.
This brings up another common idea.
We all have this “I’m special in some way” programming deep inside our brains.
A very ancient idea.
We think OUR ideas as super special.
More special than anybody’s.
But very few of us ever EXPRESS the fullness of our desires.
The desires we think are so unique to us.
This creates a massive opportunity.
To simply turn OFF your brain, and listen to their huge, ideal dreams.
Nearly everybody has a big dream of doing something MAGNIFICENT some day.
Something that will be remembered for generations.
Something that will give our lives purpose.
Not a lot of people have a very clear idea of what that is.
This is where you come in.
Under the radar.
Start asking simple, conversational type questions.
Then start to covertly build up their big dreams.
Help them shape that “one thing” they’ll do in their live that will create a lasting impact on the world.
Deep In Their Mind
The one they associate with their core self.
Their true self.
This will make them feel absolutely fantastic.
And they will unconsciously associate that fantastic feeling with you.
Your own personal halo effect.
Through which they will see you.
They will feel you.
And they will voluntarily do whatever you want them to.
For their own reasons.
