Most guys, when they suddenly realize they have feelings for a girl, feel the need to open up.
There’s a belief that if she only knows how you feel, that will cause the same feelings in her.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t always work. In fact, it sometimes has the opposite effect. She thinks you are “just friends,” and while she hasn’t thought about it consciously, there is a real chance you can become more.
But in order for that to happen, she’s got to start thinking of you in “that way,” that will make her long for something else besides time killing conversations.
In order for her to start thinking of you in “that way,” you’ve got to get her thinking about you when you’re not around.
Not just thinking, but wondering. Wondering how you feel about her. Wondering if you feel the same way she does. Curious, unsure.
Obviously, spilling your guts to her is going to absolutely KILL any chance of her wondering about you.
It’s that wondering and curious daydreaming that causes her feelings of friendship to morph into emotional and sexual desire.
While it may seem like spilling your guts is the best choice, it’s actually the opposite of what you need to do.
There’s a fantastic movie called “The Tao Of Steve” about a guy that was a pure natural. No money, no looks but the girls were all over him.
His basic premise was to “Be excellent, be gone.”
Meaning that you demonstrate your skills, then you get the heck out of dodge.
You don’t wait around until she gives you props for your behavior. You don’t wait around hoping she’ll make a move on you, or you’ll get lucky. You don’t wait around like a puppy hoping to get some scraps.
You leave.
Because those emotions you’re hoping to create in her WON’T happen when you’re sitting there looking at her with puppy dog eyes.
It will happen when you’re not around. When she’s thinking about you, and wondering.
The only way to make her wonder, is to LEAVE before she realizes your desperate for her affection.
Bottom line is if you’ve got feelings for her, BEFORE she’s got feelings for you, never, ever let it be known.
Just be cool, then be gone.
When she gets around to feelings those feelings, you’ll know. Until then, keep your powder dry.
