Every single second there are literally millions of bits of information hitting your senses.
How many can your conscious mind perceive? About 40.
Bits.
That means, that out of all the noise that’s flying around you, all the time, all the sounds, sights, smells, physical sensations, your brain has got to quickly (in about half a second) pick out from a MILLION bits of information the 40 that it thinks are important enough to present to your conscious mind.
How does it know what 40 bits to choose?
Your filters.
You think life is hard? You’ll see proof.
You think life is easy? You’ll see proof.
You think girls are into you? You’ll see proof.
You think people are disgusted by you? You’ll see proof.
Here’s how most people create reality:
They come up with some “story” about who they are, usually why they have their limitations. They look out into the world, and find “proof” that this “story” is true.
Then they spend their lives earnestly defending their “truth.”
Usually this “truth” is filled with reasons, excuses, and blame as to why they are the way they are.
Here’s an interesting reframe. You might want to try it.
The secret of life, to getting whatever you want, is that your story is easily editable.
The best part is that as soon as you reach into your mind, and change it around, the “proof” that it’s true will “magically” show up.
POOF!
Play around with this, and see what happens.
