I go for walks in the morning, and I often see the same people, usually out walking their dogs.
Dogs, and other pack animals, are a lot like humans, in a lot of respects. They can serve as a good model, or metaphor, for human behavior, especially male behavior, when intending to attract, meet and date girls.
For example, I see these little pooches that stop and sniff everything around them, including the people that walk by. These are the dogs that make cute pets, and sit on your lap while you’re watching TV, or sleep on the foot of your bed, and follow you to the bathroom or kitchen when you wake up in the middle of the night.
Then there are the bigger dogs. The “take no prisoners” dogs that you know would do all right if society suddenly collapses and there weren’t any people around to feed them.
They walk ahead of their masters, not stopping every ten feet, with a kind of bored look in their eyes.
They’re the kind that you KNOW would tear any invader to your home, limb from limb, instead of hiding under the bed.
They’re all business. It’s as though they’ve got bigger plans on their mind, instead of waiting around for their masters to tell them what to do.
When guys out to meet girls, they kind of fall in the same category. There are the little dogs, who center their lives around women, and go from bar to bar, chosen only for the female clientele, and approach anything that gives them decent eye contact.
Then there are the big dogs, who don’t really go out JUST to meet girls. They go out with their friends, to enjoy themselves. They’ve always got their minds on bigger plans, much bigger than whatever girl they happen to meet that night.
They’re always thinking long term. If a girl wants to come along for the ride, great. If not, there’s always plenty more.
Little dogs chase girls, and go home butt hurt when they don’t meet any.
Big dogs chase life, knowing quality girls will follow, just like night follows day.
