Pre Planned Genius
I have a friend who went on a diet and lost a lot of weight, and gained quite bit of muscle definition.
But before he did that, he created a very specific strategy that would satisfy a lot of different criteria.
That way, he could use that same experience and his before and after pictures to create a whole slew of videos from the same experience.
His plan was to walk to the health food shop, and have one protein and fat shake of only 1500 calories.
I know this guy that is a marketing consultant, and he told me about his colleague who only works with supermarkets.
And he told me their strategy for significantly increase people’s purchases.
They start off by boiling a huge chunk of meat in a big pot with a ton of attractively smelling spices.
Why So Round?
There’s a very interesting reason pizzas are round and not square.
Way back during the middle ages, there was a distribution in the square metal pan supply chain.
They started by trying to fit the dough into a square, but they soon realized it would be much easier to throw it up in the air and spin it around in a circle.
I have a friend that’s been practicing his dice throwing skills.
His theory is that with enough practice and calibration, you can learn to make any numbers you want come up on the dice.
At first, I thought this guy was nuts.
But then he encouraged me to test him, to see how much he’d progressed.
So I told him to throw a twelve.
Proof By Probability
He rolled the dice 100 times and got 19 twelve.
According to pure probability, you’d only get a twelve about three times out of a hundred.
The only problem is can only do this when everybody around him is standing perfectly still.
Return Of The Metal
After a while, they eventually solved their supply issues and once again, the metal was flowing.
And they made round pizza pans since everybody was used to that.
So before, pizza was fit into the pan, while after, the pan was fit to the pizza.
Hungry Decision Making
If you are on your way home from work, and you stop by the supermarket to pick up something to eat, you will be their prime target.
You’ll walk into the supermarket to buy something to eat, be hit with the delicious smell and lose your ability to stick to your original choices.
Plenty of studies have demonstrated that making decisions when hungry is generally not a good idea.
Once he’d gotten his six pack, he had three legitimate reasons for promoting weight loss.
A bunch for walking, a bunch for intermittent fasting, a bunch for the keto diet and a bunch for supplements and a bunch for that particular health food store.
