Apples
Once I saw a picture from the soviet union.
From way back in the day.
It was kind of like a Monty Python movie.
Where they had one guy selling nothing.
“I’ve got nothing for sale!”
Funny in a movie, where everybody starving and broke in the dark ages.
But in the Soviet Union, it was actually like that.
The picture was of a fruit shop.
But all the had were apples.
Different boxes.
Different people.
Same apples.
Imagine this mental experiment.
You grow up in the Soviet Union.
The media is super controlled.
Apple World
So all you think there are, when it comes to fruit, is apples.
So you can only think of eating in terms of apples.
But then you and your parents defect.
And you come to a large supermarket in the U.S.
It’s like a dream come true.
So much food.
Or think about this from the other direction.
Suppose you have a secret pen pal in the U.S.
And he comes to visit you in the Soviet Union.
And he sneaks in ALL kinds of food.
Much better than bruised apples.
And he leaves, and you have to go back to the apples.
That would suck.
Apple Love
This is somewhat like the modern dating market.
Everybody is like those bruised apples.
Not much to offer.
If you are shopping for bruised apples, and all they have are bruised apples, you’ll only be able to think in terms of bruised apples.
When people are shopping around for romantic partners, all they can see is the low quality people.
Low quality people who have ZERO game.
Both men and women.
Zero congruence.
Zero ability to be REAL.
To be genuine.
Beyond Apples
So everybody thinks it’s only about looks.
Or clothing.
Or superficial things.
Resume game.
The things you could read from somebody’s profile.
Height, body fat, head shot, stats, job, income.
What happens when you bring something EXTRA, that you can’t put on a resume?
Something they can ONLY get from interacting with you.
Not only in the short term.
But in the long term.
Better and Better
The longer they interact with you, the better you seem.
You’ll be like a humongous supermarket.
Multi-faceted.
Lots to offer.
Everybody else?
A box of bruised apples inside of the bruised apple store.
This is the power of congruence.
Of being real.
Of accepting all the parts of you.
Of not needing to be fake or careful or hidden behind a shell.
Build this power and dominate all social markets.
