Most people in the world know about Einstein, and how he was a supergenius that most people couldn’t understand. But there was one problem he was never able to solve.
It was the “gravity-acceleration” paradox, and it goes like this.
Imagine you’re in some room, similar to your room at home. There’s no windows, so you can’t look outside.
Of course, you feel the pull of gravity, as when you jump, you can only jump so high before falling back to the ground, and if you drop your toast, it will land on the floor (usually butter side down).
Now, suppose you are in another room, exactly the same. Only this one is in a spaceship that is slowly accelerating. If it’s accelerating just right, it will have the same effect. Meaning you’ll only be able to jump so high before “falling” back to the ground, and if your toast slips out of your hand, it will go crashing down, face first, onto your newly shampooed carpet.
Here’s the dilemma, from ONLY inside that room, with no windows, how can you tell the difference?
What experiment can you do, if you had the most sophisticated equipment in the world, to tell you if you were on some planet, with gravity, or in some rocket, constantly accelerating in space?
Einstein thought about this problem quite a bit, and he couldn’t come up with an answer.
This happens more often than we realize. Something “happens” in our reality, and it could mean anything.
And there’s no way to EVER be sure.
Now, for all of you control freaks out there, this is a horrible nightmare that you’ll never wake up from.
But for the rest of us, this is AWESOME!
Why? Because if there’s no way to “prove” what something “means” we can conjure up whatever “meaning” we want!
And because our beliefs and behavior our based largely on how we “perceive” the reality around us, this gives us EXTRAORDINARY power to “create it” however we want.
In fact, if your meaning is “flexible” enough, you can use any random event to support any kind of idea you’re building.
Which can literally turn you into a massive snowball of success sooner than you realize.
