Ambition Drive
What is the human spirit?
A drive for more.
A restlessness that can only be satisfied by living your purpose.
What is your purpose?
Humans are social animals.
In a very short handed way, our “purpose” is to serve other humans.
But only in a very specific way.
Way back in the days of hunter gathers, we were constrained by our environment and our instincts.
Dudes competed to be the best killers.
To “serve” the rest of the tribe.
Not because of a social contract.
Not because it was the “right” or “moral” thing to do.
Overlapping Desires
But to get the rewards.
Imagine a starving tribe.
Days without food.
Then some dudes come back with a huge animal.
Enough meat for everybody to feast on for a week or so.
Imagine everybody looking at the clear leader of the hunting team.
Imagine how much RESPECT they would have for that guy.
Because of what that guy and his team did, nobody would have to go hungry.
Imagine being that guy.
Imagine feeling the respect, admiration, and even love from most of the tribe.
This is perhaps the BEST human feeling.
A massive accomplishment followed by EVERYBODY you know in your world looking at you as THE hero of the tribe.
Go Big
This is why those dudes risked everything to take down a wooly mammoth.
Imagine what this would feel like.
Better than hitting the game winning home run in the bottom of the ninth in the world series.
Better than jamming on the guitar in front of raving fans.
Better than having a gold medal placed your neck at the Olympics.
For 200,000 years, this WAS our purpose.
To be the best provider to others.
To get the best rewards from others.
Today most people are lost.
Most people are lonely.
Most people are depressed, cut off, and don’t feel that even discovering their purpose is possible, let alone living it.
Modern Starvation
People today are starving just like ancient peoples were starving.
So when YOU come along and feed their minds and souls, they will respect you.
Just like ancient humans respected the mad killers who filled their bellies.
Consider this to be your purpose.
To provide something to as many people as you can.
Things they want, and need, but can’t get.
So you can get the reciprocal love, admiration and respect in exchange.
Life has been like this since the dawn of time.
Mostly in the realm of trade and commerce.
Figuring out how to provide valuable goods and services to others in exchange for respect and money.
More Potential Than Ever
But today, there is much more at stake.
People are lacking a lot.
Which means you can provide a lot.
And get a lot in return.
