How’d I Get Here?
The most common form of hypnosis is highway hypnosis.
You get in your car, intending to drive to your destination, and next thing you know you’re already there.
You forgot everything that happened on the way.
One of the criteria of a good movie is one you can watch over and over.
It makes sense, due to the limited amount of data that can get into our conscious.
So every time you watch this, you learn something new.
The rest of this goes directly into your unconscious.
I was at the library the other day, and I picked up a random book off the shelf.
The first third was very engaging and interesting.
I said to myself, this is so interesting, you really need to pay attention to this.
But the second third contradicted all the assumptions I’d made during the first third.
And as you likely already know, contradicting assumptions isn’t always easy.
Some assumptions will just dig in deeper.
Sexy Seminar Hypnotist
There was this sexy seminar teacher than used some extremely deep hypnotic techniques.
She would put things in really deep.
So deep you would even remember this.
Like when you toss something in the closet, and you don’t think about this, it’s very easy to imagine how this doesn’t even exist at all.
Deep Idea Generation
But didn’t just leave ideas in your mind to get mixed up with all the ideas floating down at the bottom.
She put ideas that would later merge together.
To spontaneously join together to make better and better ideas.
To create a kind of self-generated idea emergence.
Combinations of ideas that are much more robust together as they are individually.
Self Generating Combinations
So when you sleep, you will think about these things.
When you have a curious memory rising up to the surface, this will seem familiar.
One of the reasons she could do this was her massive halo effect.
She was very beautiful, and would trance people out simply with her voice.
By the time I finished, I was really confused.
The third have seemed to contradict the contradictions from the first third.
And when you get some contradictions folding back on themselves, you can get some interesting comes.
It’s unlikely that anybody consciously creates a classic, a movie you can watch over and over.
Everybody Do Their Part
It’s likely a combination of the various people involved.
Actors, directors, writers that somehow combine their unconscious intelligence in ways that nobody could have predicted.
One of the reasons highway hypnosis is so trance inducing has it’s roots in evolutionary biology.
Even before we had a conscious mind, when everything was only perceived through your unconscious, we had the highway hypnosis instinct.
Go Home Instinct
It’s essentially a primate homing device.
To always be able to find your way home.
We literally store location memories in a different part of our brain.
A deeper part of our brain.
The part of our brain that doesn’t need the approval of your conscious mind.
That’s the part that’s the most powerful.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
