Unless you’ve got tons of success in the very recent past, going out and meeting girls is going to make you nervous.
I don’t know how bad ass you pretend to be around your friends, walking up and talking to a pretty girl is one of the scariest things a guy will ever do. Since reproducing is on the very top of our human “to do” list, interacting with potential mates (and potential mothers of your children) sends signals to all levels of your being that this is “game time.”
And from a caveman, DNA perspective, it’s not opening day, it’s ALWAYS the last game of the world series.
Now, there’s plenty of things you can do to reduce the anxiety, and make it easier. Less anxiety means your mental resources to focus on the conversation, which will make you much likelier to succeed.
As mentioned before, if you just got laid that morning, and got laid by a different girl the night before, talking to yet another cutie is going to be a piece of cake.
However, most guys aren’t getting laid that much. In fact, most guys hardly get laid at all. So chances are, when you do have an opportunity to walk up to that cutie, introduce yourself, and get the number, you’ll be smack dab in the middle of a dry spell.
So, what do you do?
One way is to make it a habit of talking to cute girls wherever you go, regardless if you’re in the mood to “pick up” or not.
This will program your subconscious that talking to girls is easy and natural, so that when Miss Right does finally show up, you’ll be ready.
To further this mindset, one way to “sort” for Miss Right is to have a solid set of criteria. Things that she MUST have besides just her looks.
This will make you more curious, and less nervous, when talking to cute girls. Since you’re not really sure if she qualifies or not, you won’t exactly be trying to qualify yourself to her, like most guys do.
To further make it easier on yourself, consider one of your criteria that she be attracted to you from the get go. Meaning if you find yourself “trying” to game her, she is automatically disqualified.
Consider talking to girls, finding out if they have what you want, and then further require that they are clearly into you.
So when you request her number, she’ll give it to you without a second thought.
One thing that can make this much easier is to learn some emotionally attractive language patterns. Originally designed for sales, when you inject these into a normal conversation, they can easily send her attraction through the roof.
