Non Stop Fantasy
Humans are natural dreamers.
We love dreaming.
We love creating.
Sure, some of us are better than others, but we all have that instinct.
Otherwise, we wouldn’t have invented all this stuff we have around us.
At the same time, most of us don’t have very specific dreams.
Sure, we all want better lives.
Better jobs, careers, financial and romantic situations.
But in order to actually create those things, you need to have an idea of what you want.
At least know what direction to go in.
A deeper issue that most of us have is we never really have an opportunity to express these deep dreams.
Except when consuming fiction of some kind.
Or even music.
We like this because it fires up our dreaming mind.
We watch fantastic movies and wish that kind of stuff would happen to us.
Orphaned Heroes
This is why we’ve been telling each other hero’s journey stories since the dawn of time.
Most all heroes, ancient and modern, start out as orphans.
We identify we orphans.
Because we don’t have a clue what to do.
But then in the story, something FORCES the orphan onto the path.
We WISH something like that would happen to us.
Everybody has a latent ambition.
The common human instinct that needs to be stimulated.
In modern life, there’s not much stimulation.
Which is where you come in.
Turns out it is every easy to stimulate other people’s dreaming mind.
Other people’s ambition instinct.
Here’s the best part.
They’ll Follow You
Since most people don’t have much of a plan, but they also have this ambition instinct, any “mission” will do.
This is the key to the hero’s journey.
None of the heroes chose their mission.
It was chosen for them.
This means YOU can choose the mission for others.
First, talk to them about their big dreams.
The things they sort of understand, but have never had a chance to articulate.
So you help them to articulate it.
You can help them make it bigger and brighter.
To really fire up their ambition.
To make real, tangible, irresistible.
Then YOU drop in a few hints about YOUR ambition.
The things YOU are planning to do.
And this is all you need.
They will eagerly come along.
With you.
Filled with zeal and relentless motivation.
They’ll Love You
Their dreams, your ambition, and a relentlessly forward momentum.
Don’t have a huge ambition?
At least not yet?
No worries.
You can simply talk to them about their big dreams and desires.
And they’ll be willing to do ANYTHING.
