A long while ago, I took an acting class.
One of the guys I partnered with was Russian.
But I didn’t believe him.
He spoke perfect English.
I asked how he learned English so well.
I was an expecting a complex answer.
Advanced language learning.
CIA training method.
Rich family of diplomats.
He said he just hung out with skateboarder kids.
Soaked it up naturally.
This is a function of everybody’s brain.
To learn by soaking stuff up.
Very often, our conscious brains get in the way.
But by simple relaxing and immersing ourselves in something, and letting our natural learner take over, we’ll learn much faster.
This is how we learn pretty much everything.
The language we speak.
The stories we tell.
Our mannerisms and gestures.
Some things are on a kind of global level.
Some things are on a smaller level.
The mannerisms and styles of humor you pick up from kids on the playground.
There was a very, very interesting book written, about a hundred years ago.
“The History Of Money And Credit” or something.
Buy a guy named Mises.
Old School Economics
The main question was why do things cost what they do?
How do people know how much to sell stuff for?
How do people know how much to expect to buy stuff for?
The answer is pretty simple.
Everybody simply references, mostly unconsciously, what happened yesterday.
What about yesterday?
Yesterday they all referenced what happened the day before that.
Going all the way back.
Over hundred year periods, you may see some huge changes.
But day to day?
Not so much.
We speak and think the way we do because that’s the way we thought and spoke yesterday.
And the day before that, and so on and so on.
But this isn’t a REQUIREMENT.
Do What You Like
It’s just a natural, easy, convenient way of doing things.
And those big changes that tend to happen over those hundred year periods?
Who do you think made those changes?
The people who decided, on their own, to do things differently.
It worked, and everybody copied them.
How about you?
What would you like to do differently?
So differently and so successfully everybody will want to copy you?
You can start today by how you speak.
Speaking is essentially out loud thinking.
So if you change the way you speak, you’ll change the way you think.
Who knows what might happen after that.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
