Getting shot down is a horrible feeling.
If you’ve taken any amount of time to screw up your courage to approach, and it doesn’t work out, it feels like you’ve failed miserably.
It’s as if everybody in the place, whether you’re in a club or a coffee shop has watched you crash and burn, and the place is ruined. Any girl you approach after that is clearly going to know she’s your second choice, right?
It certainly feels like that.
That’s why building up the confidence to approach and talk to girls, as part of your natural routine is crucial. When you can spot a cute girl, walk up and start talking to her WITHOUT trying to pick her up, a funny thing happens.
Girls like it when guys talk to them. Confident guys that aren’t trying to get into their pants.
Girls can sniff out lines and nervousness like guys can sniff out fake boobs.
When she suspects you’ve got an alternative motive, meaning that she knows whatever you’re saying is leading up to getting her number, she’ll behave a lot differently than if you’re just relaxed and talking to her because you simply enjoy talking to her.
If you are clear that you’re going to ask for the number, she’s going to throw up plenty of road blocks to make sure you’ve got stones.
On the other hand, if she’s not sure whether you’re going to ask for her number, or if she feels that YOU aren’t sure whether or not you want to ask for her number, the opposite will happen.
She’ll start to subconsciously qualify herself to you. When you see her doing this, you’ll suddenly become convinced that getting her number is a good idea.
This is one of the great paradoxes of seduction and human interaction. If you approach with the number in mind, she’ll make it difficult. But if you approach WITHOUT any outcome in mind other than enjoying the conversation, getting the number will be a piece of cake.
You’ll actually see plenty of body language and facial expressions that is screaming for attention.
And the more you make it a habit of talking to girls WITHOUT getting her number, the easier this will be.
