Most Powerful Skill
A very useful practice is image streaming.
Originally it was presented in a book by Win Wenger as a means to increase IQ.
In the book (The Einstein Factor) he referenced a study where college students did image streaming for a while.
And the preliminary results suggest (not prove) that every hour of image streaming can increase IQ by a certain number of points.
This is unfortunate.
Whenever people see any specific results, we start to expect those results.
Meaning you might image stream for two hours and have an EXPECTATION that your IQ is up two points.
But you don’t feel any different, you don’t think any different.
Worse is if you actually TELL somebody you are image streaming SO THAT you’ll increase your IQ.
Then they’ll always be pestering you to PROVE how smart you are.
Even WORSE are people who have heard about image streaming, but won’t even try it UNLESS they find a bunch of EVIDENCE that PROVES it will create tangible results.
I Need Proof
This is a very, very limiting personal trait.
To understand a process.
A FREE process that can improve yourself in some way.
One that only takes a few minutes.
But people are still UNWILLING to try this UNLESS they find plenty of PROOF online.
Unless they find tons of SOCIAL PROOF that it works.
It feels good to go along with the crowd.
It feels good to do the same thing everybody else is doing.
Scared To Go It Alone
It feels good to do things where you have a some real authority VERIFYING that it’s going to work.
Why do we like this kind of thing?
Because of the following sequences of imagined thoughts.
We IMAGINE telling somebody we’ve started doing something like IMAGE streaming.
And we imagine telling them why.
And most of us can’t imagine telling somebody why we are doing that WITHOUT referencing all those socially proofed and authority reasons.
We very much like to HIDE BEHIND things like social proof and authority.
This kind of thinking is the OPPOSITE of self improvement.
What’s the answer?
Try something and see if it works.
Let them see the RESULTS of your behavior.
This is very, very hard for most people.
Most people do things MAINLY to get some kind of external approval.
But if you keep trying things LONG ENOUGH to see if you really do get results, you’ll start to really improve yourself.
When you image stream, it’s kind of like dreaming.
The images flow the same in both ways.
Image streaming is like watching the images flow.
Dreaming is experiencing the images flow.
And deliberately leveraging BOTH will benefit you in tremendous ways.
But only if you try them consistently.
And treat them like your own secret weapon.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
