Most guys feel as if they’re trying steal from the cookie jar when they approach a woman.
Why is this?
It’s because when we were kids, about two or three, our parents suddenly stopped thinking we were super cute and adorable, and started to realize what a pain in the arse we were.
Think about what this does to a little kid’s brain.
One minute every fart, gurgle and scream is totally cute and adorable. Whatever we do it brings smiles from those gods we called parents.
Then when we become mobile, it all changes. Of course, we have no idea what’s going on. We’re still trying to explore the world around us and express ourselves.
Except, sometimes when we speak up, or move toward something we want (how the heck are we supposed to know it belongs to somebody else?) we get yelled at.
So here we are, a couple of decades later, and when we see that girl across the room, part of us wants to approach and have some fun, while another part of us is screaming “Danger!”
But forget about what’s going on inside your brain, let’s focus on what’s going on inside hers.
She sees you from across the room. She’s done her best to give you signs of interest.
Unless she’s some kind of psychotic player (there’s really fewer of those than some guys think) she WANTS you to come and talk to her.
She WANTS you to become MORE attractive as she talks to you.
She WANTS to want to give you her number.
And yes, if everything goes well, she desperately HOPES you’re the guy she’s looking for, that will sweep her off her feet and bang her silly, again and again.
She WANTS you to succeed.
Of course, this only holds with girls that have given you a slight bit of attention. Like eye contact and a smile. If you sneak up behind some girl that hasn’t seen you and start running game, all bets are off.
But if she’s stationary, and she’s made eye contact and smiled, GAME ON.
She WANTS you to come and talk to her, and she WANTS it to be a successful “pick up.”
See, girls can’t really tell if they’re attracted to guys unless they talk to them for a while.
They’re not like us, who only need a few microseconds to feel attraction.
Think of it like this. If you see some girl in some smokey room, but can only make out part of her face and figure, which is more likely, to hope she’s hideously ugly, or to hope that she’s a smokin hot HB 10?
That’s JUST what she’s thinking when she gives you the green light.
She’s HOPING you’re confident and attractive.
So walk over there, and BE confident and attractive!
Don’t let her down!
