My pappy used to have this saying, “You can beat the race, but you’ll never beat the races.”
This means that when betting on the ponies, you may come across an occasional “tip” or piece of inside info, but most folks, over the long run, will end up net negative at the track.
How’s this apply to women?
Well, the good news is that the opposite is true.
Meaning that you might fail miserably with one “woman,” but with the right skills, you can be massively successful with “women.”
Meaning if you look out into the social landscape, there’s TONS of opportunities. Sure, not every single one of them will pan out. Any guru who tells you otherwise is flat out lying.
But instead of walking up to every single “woman” thinking it’s a do or die situation, look at her in the broader perspective. She is but one of many “women” that you are getting to know, sorting, qualifying, and finding those “women” or that one special “woman” that meets all of your criteria, and you hers.
This is one of the reasons that sales terminology is used when discussing game. Prospecting, closing, qualifying, etc.
Any salesman worth his salt knows you can’t close every customer. Not even close. That’s why salesman always speak in terms of percentages. They know it’s a numbers game.
The best salesman never think to themselves when sitting in front of a client, “oh man if I don’t close this client I’m going to go broke…”
Sure, beginners think this, which is why they burn out after a couple of months. Guys that have been in the business for years know this is foolish thinking.
They think in terms of leads, prospects, sales funnels, etc.
When dating, you should do the same.
One way that will help is by having the “alpha male” mindset. The mindset that tells you, on a deep level, that you’ve got plenty of options no matter WHAT happens.
If you’ve ever been in a satisfying relationship, you know how much easier it is to talk to girls.
With an alpha mindset, you’ll feel that way regardless of your relationship status or history.
