Know What’s Underneath
Once there was a crab fisherman.
He’d been a crab fisherman for a long time and was well respected for his crab fishing proficiency.
Sometimes elementary school children would go on field trips on his crab fishing boat.
So they could learn all about different trades and different ways to earn a living.
But the crab fisherman had a very impressive skill.
One that neither the students nor the teachers could understand.
Memory Super Power
He never left any markers where his crab traps had been set, or how long they’d been out.
He’d just pull up to a spot in the ocean, a spot in the ocean that looked any other spot in the ocean.
And he would tell the kids that this particular trap was ready, and he’d reach down into the sea, and pull up a huge box filled with crabs.
TV Fixer
Once there was a TV repairman.
He repaired old TV’s, not new TVs.
He did quite a bit of business as the nostalgia business had been booming in that town for a while.
Once, a new customer asked him if he had old TVs in his house, or if this was just his business.
That he made his living trading in old school nostalgia ideas, and enjoyed modern technology back at home.
I Only Do Old School
He said, no I do not watch modern technology at home.
He said that modern technology is very, very limited.
That back in the day, when people had to tell stories purely from memory, those were far better.
Advanced graphics and cookie cutter screen writing leaves little to the imagination.
That back in the old days of catharsis and long human memory, the story arcs and archetypes were breathtakingly beautiful.
But that there was a much, deeper kind of storytelling.
Way Old School
One that existed long before writing was ever invented.
Back when your mind was incredibly powerful.
Back when your mind was unbelievably rich with mind bending metaphors.
That power that still exists within you, now, as you listen to this.
He said he would go home, and turn on an old TV, that wasn’t connected to cable or even an antenna.
So that he would see and hear only static.
Beauty Beyond Static

Of what you’ve put deep down below.
And once you make the connection, of what’s on the surface to what is deep down below, you will know everything.
You will understand everything.
You will remember everything.
And your mind vast mind will be at peace.

Once there was a very crowded restaurant that was downtown.
The food wasn’t expensive, it wasn’t known for famous people.
And it didn’t lend it self to any kind of elite social signaling.
Yet, if you wanted to dine there, you had to make a reservation far, far in advance.
But if you were patient, and you showed up on time and followed their rules and recommendations, it was an amazingly delicious dining experience.
But they also strongly recommend you only dine there once per quarter.
Otherwise, you will lose the joy of cooking.
Particularly if you like to experiment and enjoy the natural feedback loop associated with cooking outside the lines.
Wow, They Have Everything Here
Once, there was a hi fi shop.
They sold many different things and didn’t seem to have any discernable themes.
They had the latest gaming systems and computers.
But they also had very old games, and very old computers.
They had wifi head phones, they had wireless headphones, they had advanced Bluetooth earpieces.
If you asked for a particular item, if they didn’t have it, they would gladly order it for you.
Best Prices Around
And no matter what you wanted, something in stock or a special order, it was always cheaper than anywhere else.
But that wasn’t their specialty.
Their specialty wasn’t advertised, or even shared, it was only presented if you knew how to ask for it.
For example, one man wandered in, not even sure what of shop he was in.
He seemed to be having troubles, troubles that he shared with the proprietor.
Give These A Listen
Finally, the proprietor recommended by buy an old pair of headphones.
These were old headphones, and they didn’t even have a chord.
But he told him to just sit and listen to these headphones for a little bit at the end of every day.
So he did, and at first, he heard nothing at all.
But since the proprietor seemed to be genuinely helpful, he kept listening.
Static…And?
Eventually he started to hear static, then he thought he heard voices within the static.
Soon the static sounded like beautiful voices singing in the distance.
Finally, one voice came through the static.
Your guardian angel does not exist outside of you.
Your guardian angel is your better part, the holy part, the pure angelic part.
If you ignore that part of you, your life will be in turmoil.
Hidden Beneath Your Ego
But if you turn off your ego and are obedient to your inner angel, your ancient spiritual guidance, you will be free from pain and anxiety.
But, you must be patient, and you must sit quietly at least once per day, and listen to your inner angel.

When you show up, it looks like a normal restaurant.
But they don’t have any menus.

After some friendly chit chat, the waiter asks you a series of questions.
After you answer them as honestly and openly as you can, they bring your meal.
