Imagine that you were hungry. You had two restaurants to choose from.
One of them had a big sign in front, that said “Open 24 hours, we NEVER close!” Not only that, but the sign was HUGE, and you could see it for miles around.
But the other two were only open sometimes. They had irregular hours. The owner was kind of sketchy, and he would close down sometimes for days at a time to work on new recipes.
But when they were open, they were absolutely out of this world. Mouth watering dishes that you simply couldn’t get anywhere else.
So there you are, wondering where to go for dinner. You’re starving, and you’ve got a pocket filled with cash.
Then your buddy calls. And that one restaurant is going to be open for the next three hours, then they’re going to close for a week.
Which one do you go to?
If you’re like most people, you naturally go to the second place. The first place is always open, and because of their huge sign, you know they’re always open.
In fact, because you see their huge, always open sign, you likely rarely go there. After all, they’re always going to be there. What’s the rush.
Now, think of some girl you like. When she’s got some free time on her hands, which guy is she going to hang out with?
The guy who’s always open, always available, and always letting her know he’s open, or the guy who’s sometimes free, and sometimes not?
Then she suddenly gets a call from her friend, letting her know the guy who’s sometimes available, and sometimes not, is down at the local bar. Alone. But he’s not going to be there for long.
What’s she going to do?
Which guy do you want to be?
Now, it would be silly to do all this for ONE girl. After all, you may be waiting around a while.
But what if you treated ALL girls this way?
So that at any given time, no matter what you were doing, there were girls who were hoping you’d show up, available, on their radar?
And the more you made yourself unavailable, the more they wanted you?
Something to think about.
