Territorial Earthlings
Punching a bee hive would be a silly thing to do.
Bees are programmed to defend their territory.
So willing are they willing to defend their turf that they die in the process.
Whenever a bee stings an attacker, they die.
If you wandered into a wolf forest and decided to have a picnic, that would be a dumb idea.
If you got eaten by wolves while having a picnic in wolf forest, your friends would think you’re an idiot.
There was a fantastic movie, based on a true story, called “Rob The Mob.”
Back during the 70’s and 80’s a lot of mobsters were taking deals.
Going into witness protection to rat out their bosses.

These trials were held out in the open.
Anybody could attend.
So one entrepreneurial type got an idea.
He’d show up to these trials and figure out what these mobsters had to say.
And by attending these trials, and watching these mobsters talk about how they did their operations, this guy learned a few things.
Like which bars were “mobster bars” and which weren’t.
One what days these “mobster bars” would have cash.
So he started robbing them, knowing they wouldn’t call the cops.
He figured if he disguised himself, they’d never find him.
At first this worked pretty well.
But as criminals tend to do, he got greedy.
Finally the mob tracked him down and took care of him.
Nobody would tell this guy he was a victim.
Action Reaction
Most people would say things like, “Well that’s what you get.”
“You rob a bunch of criminals and they are going to come after you.”
One of the most famous quotes in history is about getting your territory invaded.
The statue at Thermopylae famously says:
“Molon Labe”
Which means, “come and take.”
The Persians invaded Sparta and Athens.
But the Spartans weren’t going allow them to just waltz on in.
The line comes in response to the Persians saying:
“Lay down your weapons and we won’t kill everybody.”
The response from the Spartans essentially means they weren’t going to give up without a fight.
Humans, mammals and plenty of other living creatures a very, very territorial.
You HAVE to be if you need to survive on the food you get in your territory.
What is YOUR most precious territory?
Your Last Stand
Your brain.
Inside your brain are your thoughts, dreams, plans, and intentions.
One of my favorite lines from a song is from “Tom Sawyer,” by Rush:
“His mind is not for rent. To any god or government.”
Your thoughts are your thoughts.
They belong to nobody but you.
Protect them at all costs.
