I remember one of my “aha” moments when it comes to human attraction and the female mind.
I happened to be the videographer (for a time being) for a then famous “guru” who taught game and seduction to a whole cross section of guys.
He was giving a free seminar, open to both guys and girls. He talked about basic human emotions, the basics of what we all want and need, etc.
Then he opened it up for questions.
What surprised me, and gave me the “aha” moment, was that when it comes to attraction, and creating it in a specific person, the women were just as clueless as the men.
In fact, more women (good looking, well put together and financially successful women) had the same basic questions.
How can I get him to like me?
How should I act on the first date?
Should I call him or let him call me?
It’s easy for guys to fall into the “women are goddesses” trap. We see them across the room, and imagine all the fun we could have, and immediately assume that they are sitting there, in complete control of their emotions, looking at all the guys like chess pieces to move around at will.
In truth, most girls (at least the ones that aren’t psychopaths) are absolutely clueless. They go to clubs with their friends, just like we do.
They hope they “get lucky,” just like we do. (Of course, for them, getting lucky means something slightly different). They often times go home unfulfilled, just like we do. (giving out a few numbers to guys they’d never date DOESN’T equal success).
The truth is, the modern dating scene is much more like a Junior High School dance than we realize.
Sure, there are all kinds of angles, from texting to social media to 3rd party methods, but it’s all the same.
Girls are desperate to meet the right kind of guy, and guys are desperate to meet the right kind of girl.
All you’ve got to be is the right kind of guy, and you’ll have TONS of girls to choose from.
What’s the right kind of guy?
A guy who’s comfortable in his own skin. A guy who speaks his mind, politely, but firmly. A guy who walks at any hit of BS or manipulation. A guy who knows, deep down in his gut, that hes’ got plenty of options.
A guy just like you.
