When most guys walk up to a girl, they go about it all wrong.
They’ve pretty much shot themselves in the foot before they’ve even started.
There’s a pretty good book on sales called “High Probability Selling” which shows a highly effective sales method.
You basically give a quick 10 second pitch, and ask if somebody’s interested. If they are, you sarge on, if they’re not, you hit up the next prospect.
It’s an incredibly effective and stress free way to burn through tons of cold leads, so you’re only spending your time on the warm ones.
Some say this is a great way to find interested ladies. Scan the room, look for signs of interest, and approach the ones that seem interested. That way, you won’t waste any time.
However, there are some drawbacks to this approach. One is that it can be tough to accurately judge IOI. Two is that girls may be interested in you from across the room, but once you start talking, they may change their tune.
Especially if you come across as desperate, or have already pedestalized her in some way (which most guys do without event thinking about it.)
This way is working backwards from the “High Probability Selling” model. Instead of sorting through cold leads to find warm leads, you’re identifying warm leads and turning them into cold leads.
Not a good strategy!
But what if you held back judgment? What if instead of being attracted to her, you were merely interested?
What if when you walked over there, you saw yourself going on a “fact finding mission” instead of an “approval seeking mission”?
How would that work?
One way that can significantly help is by having a “prosperity mindset.” Now, this sounds like something that they only talk about in goofy metaphysical circles, but it’s incredibly powerful.
In both business and seduction, he who holds a true “prosperity mindset” knows there’s TONS of opportunities out there.
So when you approach any of them, business, girls or otherwise, you’re merely interested. Because you KNOW, deep in your heart, that there’s plenty others.
