Subconscious Beauty
The halo effect is real.
Scientifically verified.
They send gorgeous people into job interviews.
And tell them to give dumb sounding answers to the interview questions.
They send normal people into job interviews.
And coach them to give really thoughtful and thorough answers.
But the pretty people STILL get hired more often than the normal people.
The halo effect is similar to advertising.
They put a gorgeous girl next to a waffle maker.
We look at the gorgeous girl and get a very strong “I want that” desire.
Both men and women.
Everybody Wants Some
That “I want that” desire gets associated with the waffle maker.
This is very irrational and very ancient.
Whoever DIDN’T have that “I want that” instinct when looking at a pretty girl would be OUT-POPULATED by the people who had that instinct.
The people who did have that instinct would do ANYTHING to be near that girl who gives them the “I want that” instinctive feeling.
They would be driven to be more productive.
Get more status.
And hopefully have sex and make babies with the pretty girl.
The dudes that DIDN’T have that “I want that” instinct didn’t do jack squat, never got laid and DIDN’T pass those genes on.
So here we are, with that “I want that” desire.
Otherwise known as the halo effect.
So just like a waffle maker, whenever SHE (usually she) says anything, her words seem much more valuable than they really are.
Normal people don’t sell waffle makers.
And normal people don’t have a halo effect.
Not Fair
Now, most people hate this.
Like it’s not fair.
Well, like they say, all’s fair in love and war.
And guess what?
Surviving in our ancient past was war.
Surviving in a modern economy, or a dating market is war.
Not kinetic war, but war nonetheless.
Does that mean us normal people got the short end of the stick?
Nope.
We have access to something far more powerful than “just” physical beauty.
Physical beauty has plenty of problems.
It’s not flexible.
It either works or it doesn’t.
One Way Ride
And it gets worse with age.
What’s better than physical attraction?
An attractive personality.
To custom build some words to fit the person you are talking to.
To build more and more confidence.
A stronger and stronger frame.
To talk to people in a way that will create massive pleasure.
A custom built, internally (to them) halo effect.
Beautiful people can really only change clothes, hair style, color etc.
But conversational wizard can change much, much more.
This is precisely what Voltaire meant when he said:
“Give me ten minutes to talk away my ugly face and I will bed the queen of France.”
That power can be built and enhanced and improved for as long as you live.
Physical beauty?
Easy Loving
