Lame Sci Fi Movie
I saw what I thought was going to be an interesting movie the other night but I ended up not even finishing it.
It had an interesting concept, but this turned out to be a gimmick.
One that wasn’t enough to overcome the weak story and character development.
It was about these scientists that had discovered how to harness gravity in a special way.
Who Controls The Gravity
And the whole movie was all the political issues of what happens when there is a fight over who gets to control this new type of gravity.
It started out with a guy on a space station, testing out this gravity strip.
He was jogging on a mobius strip, which was supposed to show this advanced from of localized gravity control.
But that ended up being the whole gimmick, all these weird gravity special effects.
Future Predictions
Some movies are pretty good with how they predict future technology.
Some are pretty far off.
Like on Star Trek, the old TV show, they had those communicators that looked very much like flip phones.
They had this data things that looked very much like floppy disks.
All back in the sixties.
CIA Remote Viewing
The reason the CIA stopped pursuing the remote influence as part of their MK Ultra plan wasn’t because it didn’t work, it was because it worked in a way they didn’t anticipate.
It turns out when you connect with somebody via remote viewing, it really only works if you know them at the level of facial recognition.
It doesn’t work on strangers.
And since the CIA already had a bunch of techniques to deal with people they could get to know personally, they abandoned the program.
There are a small group of archaeologists who have discovered some very troubling documents.
We Are On Round Two
It completely blows away everything we think about life on Earth.
The current thinking is that life on Earth is about a billion years old.
That before a billion years ago, there was no life, and we are still in the never ending evolution of life that started back then.
But these new documents indicate that we are at least the second iteration of life.
We Aren’t The First
That there were a race of intelligent beings more than a billion years ago.
And they were in the same situation we are in now.
They had a planetary population on Earth pushing up against ten billion, and they were having energy concerns, very much we like we are.
They were running out of fossil fuels, just like we are.
Technically speaking, fossil fuels are a renewable energy source.
Long Renewable Energy Cycle
It just takes several hundred million years for all the organic matter to slowly turn into usable fuel by whoever is alive.
They had slightly different kinds of technology.
A way to drill for oil using energy, rather than using materials.
And they found what they thought was very highly concentrated, extremely efficient type of energy deep beneath the Earth’s crust.
Way beneath what we can even read with our most advanced instruments.
Hey! New Energy!
They were certain that this was going to completely solve the energy problem and unleash a new era of unlimited abundance.
But it turned out this was not only a new form of energy, it was a completely new force.
Meaning there aren’t only four basic forces, strong nuclear, weak nuclear, electromagnetic and gravity, but five.
But this fifth force absolutely destroys the ability of life to form.
Life can only form in the absence of this fifth force.
Oops
But once they unleashed this, it was too late.
Within a year, all life was gone.
Completely.
Oxygen, Carbon and Hydrogen lost the ability to form molecules.
This is why there aren’t fossil records going back that far.
But some scientists are not paying attention to the warning.
We Gotta Get Some
They are only paying attention to the advanced drilling technology.
Because the archaeologists who found these documents unfortunately work for the oil companies.
Once you have facial recognition with somebody, remote influencing them is very easy.
This only takes a little bit of practice.
Facial Recognition Only
They don’t need to know your name, they just need to recognize you when they see your face.
Friends, colleagues, waiters and waitresses, bartenders, etc.
Once you learn how to do this, you can implant any idea you want into their minds.
You can get them to fall in love with you.
You can get them to buy whatever you are selling.
You can even get them to stay away from you if that’s what you want.
Martian Chronicles
When I was a kid I read The Martian Chronicles.
There was a part in there about a lady listening to her book.
At the time, I thought that was stupid.
Listening to a book.
Mobius Gravity
I didn’t watch the rest of the movie.
I have to admit, I was intrigued watching this guy run laps around a mobius strip.
But the rest was poorly written, poorly acted.
I can’t believe people that tell this lame stories.
This Isn’t Real
As if people are going to pay attention to these stories and think these are worth remembering.
