Illogical Humans
One of the oldest logical fallacies goes by the name, “Post Hoc, Ergo, Propter Hoc.”
Which essentially means, “after this, therefore, because of this.”
Basically it means this:
We silly humans see two things happening in sequence.
And we assume the first thing caused the second.
We have a lot of difficulties with pure logic.
On the one hand, we all believe we think rationally and logically.
But if most people took a class in formal logic, they’d struggle to get a C.
Evolution didn’t give us logical brains.
Evolution gave us brains that make snap decisions that are rarely logical.
Run away first and ask questions later.
Faster Is Better
From a pure evolutionary frame, it’s much better to have a fast and inaccurate brain, than to have a slow but accurate brain.
So, as much as we’d like to believe otherwise, logic isn’t our strong suit.
It can be, but it takes a lot of deliberate and careful thinking.
This is why most people almost always misunderstand social situations.
Because of our inability to differentiate between cause and effect.
Girls and guys sort the room based on different criteria.
Guys quickly sort for the hottest girl.
Girls quickly sort for the hottest girl, since she represents the competition.
But for girls looking for dudes, they sort the room for the dude with the highest “status.”
This is a very difficult word.
It’s hard to measure in the abstract.
But it is ALWAYS comparative.
Double Sorters
A girl looks out into a crowd and makes a snap judgment based on who has the highest status.
The problem with this model is twofold.
One, most girls (and most dudes) are only thinking in the very short term.
Like RIGHT NOW.
And two, most dude today have very, very weak REAL status.
Sure, plenty of guys have fake status.
The kind you can buy on your credit card.
Clothing, bling, cars, etc.
What is real status?
The ancient kind.
The kind afforded ONLY to the top producers.
The top providers.
Value Giver
They guy who provided the most value TO other people.
And all the people looking upon that dude with admiration were doing so because of what that guy did for them directly.
Not some random famous person or social media influencer.
This kind of status is very, very rare today.
But it’s pretty easy and straightforward to build.
And believe it or not, it has a lot to do with genuinely earned wealth.
The kind that comes from grateful people who are happy for what you did for them.
So happy they eagerly pay you to do whatever you do.
This kind of ancient status is so rare, that once you build it, all you’ll have to do is show up and say, “Hey!”
And EVERYBODY will notice.
