I had a friend who got a sudden promotion which required a relocation.
He bought a house by doing a bunch of research online, crime rates, local schools, and a few virtual live tours with his real estate agent.
But after he moved in he noticed that has electric bill was twice as high as he’d anticipated.
Back during the seventies there was an interesting gas crisis.
Gas was essentially being rationed, and you could only go on certain days, and there were always long lines.
The economic reasons for this a very complex, much more so than is normally reported.
We All Gotta Eat
All organic, living systems need energy.
There are plants, that use mainly photosynthesis.
There animals, that move around and must consume organic matter, which means these living things must consume living things.
Somewhere in the middle are parasites, that essentially steal energy from other organism, and have found very creative ways to do so.
Higgs Boson Disaster
One of the more interesting things that happened after the discovery of the Higgs Boson was a small energy field.
At least they thought it was a small energy field, but now they’re not so sure.
At first, they thought it was kind of like a fusion reaction.
A reaction that is only possible with constant flows of higher energy to keep the reaction going.
Can’t Turn It Off
But when they tried to turn off the energy, they couldn’t.
This system was actually the opposite of what they thought it was.
It wasn’t requiring the externally applied energy to keep it going, it was siphoning this energy parasitically.
So far, they haven’t been able to decouple these two systems, and it seems to be getting large.
A New Big Bang?
One theory of the big bang is that it wasn’t a one off event.
It’s must one of an infinitely long string of events.
Small portals opening between dimensions, sometimes being spontaneously created.
And when there is a ton of energy on one dimension, and absolutely nothing in the other dimension, everything rushes in to fill the vacuum.
Swirling Through Holes
Our big bang was our universe being a vacuum and tapping into a filled universe, essentially sucking all the energy into our universe.
That’s what they suspect they’ve accidentally created as an unexpected byproduct of the Higgs Boson.
A small vacuum that is exponentially growing larger and larger.
Down The Drain
If their measurements are correct, the entirety of our known universe will collapse into this entity within seventeen years.
And since this entity is on the Earth, all life on Earth will be destroyed within seven months.
This will be quick, sudden, and unexpected.
Some parasites lay their eggs in still living creatures, while the eggs hatch and eat the host from the inside out.
Some parasites kill their host, and some parasites kill their host alive.
One interesting from of energy consumption are carnivorous plants.
One of the interesting things that popped up during the gas crisis was stealing gas.
It was relatively easy to use a regular water hose, and a gas can, and go around the neighborhood stealing gas from other cars.
That’s why all cars today have locking gas caps, because once upon a time, stealing gas out of people’s cars was a common crime.
Didn’t Check Something
Because he was busy with his new job, he didn’t take time to figure out his electricity problem for a few months.
It turns out he didn’t check the occupancy rate of the houses on his block.
A few of them were in foreclosure, and were owned by the bank.
When this happens, the bank spends money on landscaping, etc. so the houses in the neighborhood won’t drop in value.
This way, from the outside in, it looks like a happy neighborhood.
But on his block, as is common in this situation, were a lot of squatters secretly living in these foreclosures.
And they had carefully rigged up a lot of hidden power cords.
Stealing His Juice
That they were using to steal his electricity.
That’s why his electric bill was so high.
His energy was being stolen by energy parasites.
Which seem to be everywhere.
