Don’t Wait Too Long
Everybody wants something.
More money.
More sex.
Or SOME sex.
Better relationships.
Or A relationship.
Better job, better house, better neighbors, better clothes.
The idea of that one “next thing” and you’ll FINALLY be happy is a myth.
If you ONLY had a hot girlfriend, everything would be perfect.
If you ONLY had a couple mil in the bank, everything would be perfect.
One of the hardest things to accept as humans is we will ALWAYS want more.
Otherwise we wouldn’t have invented all this stuff.
Once upon a time there were tons of much bigger animals that exist today.
But they all went extinct.
Why did they go extinct?
They Were Delicious
Because we ATE them.
Think of this from a human, male ambition competition standpoint.
One guy would lead a team to kill a huge, now-extinct animal.
The tribe would party for a week or so.
That leader of the kill team would get lots of respect and admiration.
All the NON leaders of that kill team would be dreaming of being the next kill team leader.
Did that previous kill team leader step down, to give somebody else a turn?
No effing way.
Think of it from a modern perspective.
You’re talking to some super hottie.
You’re doing way better than normal.
She’s giving you all kinds of positive signs.
She’s got a very high probability of being DTF.
She’s even got a great personality!
But then you glance over at your buddy.
Who hasn’t been laid in a decade.
All’s Fair
Would you sweet talk the hottie into going with your friend, because that would be “fair”?
Not likely.
Long long ago, we were constrained by our environment to try our best, every single day.
Who ever one the daily productivity contest got ALL the rewards.
Even way back during the depression, humans were like this.
James Braddock, and old school boxer, played by Russell Crowe in the movie, “Cinderella Man,” hurt his hand.
He hurt it boxing, but he still had to work.
No work equals no food equals a starving family.
Since there was nobody else but him and his family, what did he do?
He HID his hand injury.
So he could get a job doing manual labor.
Lifting stuff up on trucks WITH his messed up hand.
Give Me!
How many people would do this today?
Work WITH an injury, just to make money to feed their family.
Nobody needs to, right?
We the government to take care of us right?
Yes, and that’s good.
But only the BARE necessities.
If you want MORE than you have now, NOBODY is going to “give” it to you.
Fair or not fair is irrelevant.
If YOU (yes, you!) don’t get it, NOBODY is going to give it to you.
The GOOD news is the ever present human competition is very, very weak today.
Much weaker than thousands of years ago.
Much weaker than a hundred years ago.
Much weaker than even a couple of decades.
You STILL have to get in the game.
But IN the game is where all the action is.
