Roman Persuasion
There is a common technique in the art of rhetoric that goes back to the Roman Empire.
You oscillate between an idea that is true, and an idea that sounds true.
So long as the true sounding idea is sandwiched between two true ideas it will usually go undetected.
One Equals Two
There are a lot of math tricks that involve long, yet simple, mathematical operations.
The trick is that at the end is something ridiculous, like 1=2.
The objective is to find the math error that looks legitimate but is in reality an illegal operation.
Green Eyed Lady
Even more difficult are logic problems.
They are structurally similar to the math problems, but since they are only based on your imagination, they are harder to think about.
Trying to find errors within something you can see is much easier than finding errors within your own hallucination.
Government Inefficiencies
Most people would agree that private enterprise produces much better results than government operations.
There are endless examples of this.
Another commonly held belief is that the CIA was involved in many paranormal projects like MK Ultra.
By combing these commonly believed ideas, it would make sense that private companies would be much better at things like remote viewing and psychic assassinations than the government.
Corporate Mind Control
Which means that large corporation are likely using all kinds of paranormal tactics to get us to buy things we didn’t even know existed before.
Like you’ll be looking at something, and you’ll have a sudden feeling in your brain to buy this.
Like a little voice in your head is telling you how fantastic this is.
That is not only something that many other people have, but also this things is rapidly disappearing.
Love The FOMO Baby!
Which means that this is so fantastic, this will cease to exist.
So you’d better buy this before it vanishes.
Because once this vanishes, you won’t be able to buy this.
Of course, this isn’t the only thing corporations do to maximize their profits.
Mental Death Squads
They are likely engaged in high level psychic assassinations.
To hurt the competition by sending a death inducing thought bomb to their chief scientist.
Or to create a remotely released amnesia bomb.
So when this gets into your brain, you won’t remember anything.
You’ll forget everything.
Even worse, since all this is done in secret, there is no way to tell the extent of the collateral damage.
Like if you are walking down the street, you might catch a ricochet from somebody else’s brain.
One Blue One Green
One example is that you live on a island with people who have either blue eyes or green eyes.
And a bus leaves for the mainland everyday.
And with this basic information, you’re supposed to guess the ratio of blue to green eyes.
Multiply First?
The reason they are so difficult is they are based on things like order of operations.
Or how to treat things under the square root sign.
Most people forget about the different strategies for being underneath the square root sign or when there isn’t a square root sign as far as the eye can see.
Calibrated Disinformation
If you carefully calibrate the long term trajectory of the sandwiched untrue ideas, you can lead your listeners to take whatever actions you want.
This means that if you are a skilled rhetorician, you can lead anybody down this slippery slope to whatever conclusion you want.
Which is exactly what those Roman Senators did when they would stand up and speak for hours on end.
