There are many different definitions of hypnosis.
Or actual arguments that hypnosis doesn’t exist.
Some believe that we are always under a state of hypnosis.
But this constant state of hypnosis is limiting.
So we need to “de-hypnotize” ourselves.
This metaphor is pretty ubiquitous and has been for a long time.
The metaphor of Plato’s cave is maybe one of the oldest recorded versions.
Or the most popular old versions.
Since this type of idea is pretty common, it’s a safe bet this metaphor pre-dates recorded history.
Impossible To See Truth
The metaphor that what we think we see isn’t the totality of reality.
The metaphor of Plato’s cave has a bunch of guys chained up in a cave.
And they see a bunch of shadows on the wall.
They think those shadows are reality.
But if they leave the cave, they’d be astonished at the truth.
Another way this was presented was in the Matrix.
You can take the blue pill and go back to sleep.
Or you can take the red pill and wake up.
To unplug from the matrix to see how things REALLY are.
Of course, in modern times this idea presents itself on both sides of the political spectrum.
Red vs. Blue
Red Pill vs. Woke.
Both kind of mean the same thing.
But interestingly enough, both sides have a completely different idea of what the “truth” is that you can see when you “wake up.”
Now here’s a trip down the rabbit hole to make things even MORE confusing.
The world is filled with humans.
Unless you are talking about trees or rocks or lakes, when people talk about Red Pill or Woke ideas it’s about human behavior.
The world is driven by human behavior.
Economics is driven by human behavior.
And human behavior is absolutely UNPREDICTABLE.
Even from inside your own brain.
Every second we are BOMBARDED by tons of information.
Always In Flux
We see a hot lady that smiles at us and it changes EVERYTHING.
We see a hot lady that threatens to call the cops if we keep staring at her boobs and it changes EVERYTHING.
Every single day our minute-to-minute thinking and behaviors are changed in ways we CAN NOT predict.
So what is the “truth” about one individual?
It changes from one moment to the next.
Depending just on how the attractive people interact with us, our truth could be that we are world class players or hopeless loners.
So, how could it even be POSSIBLE to see “The” truth, when the entire world is filled with self aware monkey people who can’t even choose what we want at a fast food place?
Here’s an idea to think about.
Seeing the “truth” is IMPOSSIBLE.
Maybe after another couple hundred thousands years of evolution, but not now.
Also that we are ALWAYS under some kind of state of hypnosis.
But it can be a good state of hypnosis.
Where a lady smiles and you feel like you could conquer the world.
Or a bad state of hypnosis.
Where a lady glares at you and you want to hide under your bed.
Accept, understand, and learn to CONTROL your own state of hypnosis, and the world will be yours.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
