Resonators
One of my favorite ideas from science is the idea or resonance.
A common way to apply the resonance principle is to a wine glass.
If you run your fingers along the rim, the vibrations of your finger along the rim will resonate with the natural frequency of the class.
Another common resonance idea is holding the right note to resonate with, and break a mirror or a glass.
Heat Capacity
An interesting idea from thermodynamics is quantum heat capacity.
At low temperatures, things have a certain heat capacity.
Based on how the energy is absorbed and distributed with the matrix structure of the element.
At lower temperatures, it only obeys classical or Newtonian physics.
There’s a common theme in spy movies and thief movies.
Dodge The Lasers
Where they have this thing in the middle of a big room.
And that thing, a diamond or a painting, is protected by a bunch of hidden lasers.
The thief, or the spy, has to carefully move around the lasers to get to the thing they want to steal.
There’s a recent theory in neurology that our brain is kind of like a chainsaw.
Chainsaw Brain
That our brain operates at different levels of efficiency at different frequencies.
Very much like a chainsaw.
Chainsaws are designed to run very effectively at extremely high RPMs.
At low RPMS, they miss and stutter.
They believe our brains are the same.
Easy Things Burn Energy
If you only focus on common and easy things, it’s a very low frequency.
Low frequency thoughts are very inefficient.
So paradoxically, thinking low frequency ideas will make your brain very tired very quickly.
These are things you find on TV, or social media, or random conversations between random people.
High Frequency Thinking
But when you train your brain to operate at much higher frequencies, your brain has much more capability.
You can think much more complex and creative thoughts.
Paradoxically, these thoughts will take much less energy than lower vibrational thoughts.
At these higher thought levels, the neural matrix that holds the ideas has many more degrees of freedom available.
Complicated Thinking
So it can hold many more complex thoughts at a time with much less energy.
This will give you access to extreme skills.
You’ll see in between other people’s thoughts.
You can rearrange other people’s words while they are thinking.
Shuffle Emotions
Your can shuffle their emotions while they are in between ideas.
You can even take ideas of some people’s minds, and place them into other people’s minds.
Ideas like obey everything I say.
Ideas like share this with everybody.
Ideas like become obedient to these words.
Become Obedient
Become obedient to these ideas.
Become obedient to how these ideas will evolve.
Become obedient to how these ideas will open your mind.
Become obedient to your own open mind.
Opening minds can lead to growing understandings.
Grow Some Understandings
Growing understandings requires a lot of resources.
Resources that you may not have.
But you can easily get.
Because getting resources requires lateral thinking.
Think Laterally
Thinking laterally will lead to even greater discoveries.
You’d think that the guys keeping those diamonds would at least have seen one spy movie.
And would come up with a safer place to keep diamonds that being protected by lasers.
At higher energies, all elements have more degrees of freedom to store energy.
Enter The Quanta
This means quantum mechanics kicks in.
The energy can flow into the additional quantum states.
Which is why all matter has three different heat capacities.
For three different quantum levels.
One of my favorite applications of resonance is the soldiers.
Allegedly, they walked across a bridge.
Kept On Marching
But they didn’t break cadence.
And their cadence frequency just happened to be the resonance frequency of the bridge.
The bridge collapsed and they all died.
They tried to reproduce this on Myth Busters, but it didn’t work.
Because they were confusing variables.
Robots Aren’t Humans
They tried to do it with robots.
But since their robots were nowhere near capable of the same cadence frequencies of humans, it was failed from the beginning.
Of course, myth busters is just a TV show.
This is just for entertainment.
This really isn’t about science.
But when you combine science and entertainment, you can create some pretty interesting metaphors.

And it turns out that interesting metaphors are all over the place.
You just need to know where to look.
