Got a fear you’d like to get rid of?
Here’s how. You’ll need to dig into your memory and find the first time it happened. Or close to the first time it happened.
You’ll be destroying the fear associated with that memory, so go back as far as you can. If you find that you don’t get to the initial memory at first, you’ll just have to repeat this process a few times.
Kind of like digging out a root, you need to get all of it, not just the parts you can see.
Anyhow, here’s what you do.
Imagine you’re sitting in an empty movie theater, watching yourself, over there.
The you over there is watching a movie up on the screen.
What’s the movie?
You guessed it, that horrible event that created your fear.
First, play it normal speed, with the regular sounds.
Remember, you’re watching yourself watching the movie, so you don’t have to look if you don’t want to.
Then, start changing the movie a bit. Make it black and white, put everybody in pink bunny slippers, put a giant dildo hat on everybody, add some zany music, whatever.
Play the movie backwards, forwards, a few times.
Then float into your other “self” over there and actually watch the cornball monstrosity you’ve just created.
Watch how silly it’s become.
Have a good laugh.
Enjoy yourself.
Do this a few times, and you’ll find that fear’s gone for good.
