Blender Sales
There are plenty of models when it comes to persuasion.
But they all kind of fall on a spectrum.
There is the telemarketing model on one end.
Where you spam your sales message to as many people as you can.
The word “telemarketing” makes this model seem terrible.
But this can be a very entertaining model.
Just not delivered through an unexpected call right when you are about eat dinner.
For example, if you go to any home show, you may see an old school pitchman.
Some guy selling something via a memorized pitch.
But some of these memorized pitches can be pretty entertaining.
Usually they involve kitchen gadgets.
This includes a few pleasant feelings and emotions.
If they pitch is carefully calibrated, so it evokes ancient buying triggers.
Intriguing Seller
If the pitchman is charismatic and has an attractive frame.
If he is confident enough to change it up a bit and interact with the audience.
AND if he’s using the kitchen gadget to actually make stuff.
And hand out free samples.
This is a mini-version of “dinner and a show.”
This ticks a lot of buttons.
It’s delivered to random people.
These random people are moving around, walking by.
It’s a memorized pitch is delivered to random people.
It’s very engaging and interesting.
Outside In
Even though it doesn’t seem like it, it is more or less the same structure as a telemarketer.
Even telemarketers, with enough confidence and game, can engage playfully with their customers.
This is all based on the “outside-in” approach.
Where you take some basic ideas and deliver them TO the customer.
It can take a lot of practice, but with enough patience you can become pretty profitable.
Then there is the opposite extreme.
When you find out about the inner desires of the customers.
This is definitely NOT something you can memorize.
Everybody is different.
Everybody has different desires, etc.
Elicitation Magic
If you can take your time, carefully eliciting out these desires, and present them congruently and charismatically, you can make a TON of money.
Or seduce a TON of people.
But this two-sided paradigm also has much deeper level.
Deep down, below the surface, we ALL want the same things.
This is why some of those pitches are SO mesmerizing.
They are carefully calibrated to those same things.
But there is a deeper delivery method as well.
The way you can speak, to make any message sound very compelling.
There is also a structure.

Beyond any content.
The structure of what people want.
And the delivery structure.

Any product.
Any idea.
