Validation For Unstoppable Persuasion

Everybody wants something. All you’ve got to do is figure out what it is, and you’ll be the most popular kid on the block, so to speak.

Now, there are short term wants, and long term wants. Specific wants, and vague wants.

What we’re after are those deep, long term vague wants that everybody’s got in endless amounts.

Of course, there are also those things we consciously want, where we know what we want and we know how to ask for it. Then there are some things that we unconsciously want.

These are the things that we respond to, that we aren’t sure why or that we’re even responding to it.

If you can tap these buttons in people, you will have reached your own golden ticket of persuasion.

Why?

It’s one thing to ask somebody what they want, and give it to them.

It’s quite something else to tap their deep unconscious desires, and create responses. Since their desires are unconscious, their “conscious” reasons for responding will be according to their own subjective values and beliefs.

What’s one powerful hot button that we all have?

Validation.

I don’t care how successful you are, we’ve all got these deep fears we hope nobody finds out about. We’ve all got this little kid inside us, worried that we are doing something “wrong” or that we might get “found out.”

So when we get validation, it’s very, very powerful.

When somebody can look at us and tell us that we’re “OK,” that our thoughts concerns and worried are normal and natural, we kind of breath a sigh of relief.

Think of a time when you were worried about something, but you were also worried about expressing your worry for fear of being singled out, or thought of as “different.”

Then some kind soul said something like, “Oh, if you’re worried about THAT, it won’t happen. A lot of people feel the same way, so you’re not alone.”

We breath a sigh of relief. Just knowing there are plenty of others who share our concern makes us feel a lot better.

When you can pace the fears of others (which are much more common than most folks realize) you’ll go a long way in making them feel better about their decisions, whatever it is.

This will help you get a lot more commissions, come across as a lot more genuine and caring, and make you seem a lot more magnetic and attractive.
