Dialing For Dollars
There are two ways to sell things.
Or two extremes.
On one extreme, is the memorized sales pitch.
An extreme case would be a memorized phone pitch.
A pitch written out on a piece of paper you have taped in front of you.
An auto dialer that does all the work for you.
As soon as a voice comes on, you give the pitch.
This can be profitable and lucrative.
You can practice how you deliver the pitch.
Practice the very first couple words to set the tone.
Slowly continue to improve.
Bored But Lucrative
And if you can handle the boredom, you can make some decent money.
You can even calculate how much each call is worth, on average.
Like of you make $50 every twenty calls, every all is worth $2.50.
And you can continue to increase your effectiveness.
On the other hand, on the other side of the spectrum, are big ticket sales.
Million dollar houses, for example.
You spend two or three months talking to potential clients.
You’re extremely flexible when and where you’ll meet them.
Under what contexts you’ll meet them.
They would likely (hopefully) not see you as a salesperson, but as somebody genuinely interested in helping them find their dream home.
You might even meet them for dinner, stop by and watch a their kids play little league.
Flexible Riches
If you could handle this kind of flexibility, every sale would net you about $50,000.
Sell one house every 2-3 months, and you’re golden.
This would require a very LONG TERM funnel.
You might have some people in your funnel for YEARS.
You can see dating as the same thing.
The very short time frame.
The “sniper” approach.
See ladies.
Approach ladies.
Close ladies.
Bang ladies.
Then move on to the next target.
Very much like memorized phone pitches.
Long Game Love
Then there are more longer term romantic partners.
The kind you hope to get to know very, very slowly.
Slowly get closer.
Slowly reveal the deepest most sensitive parts to each other.
Mutually deeper and deeper levels of vulnerability.
Deeper and deeper discussions about fantastic sexual fantasies.
More and more overlapping life goals that lead to mutually beneficial endeavors like building empires together and burying bodies together.
Ideally, a life time of partnership.
All of life can be seen through these two frames.
Which One Are You?
One very short.
Do things that work now.
Do things that feel good now.
Or, take a broader view.
Do things today that build a much better tomorrow.
Do things tomorrow that add on to what you did yesterday, to build an even better tomorrow.
Ever day is one more brick in your empire.
Potentially.
Ultimately, it’s up to you.
Today only?
Or a lifetime of today’s all building to a better tomorrow?
