Why So Complicated
Common life is very, very confusing.
But it didn’t always be this way.
In fact, if you study philosophy and religion going back a few thousand years, you’ll find the same ideas.
Which meant people from various cultures in various periods of time had the same problems to deal with.
It’s only in the last couple decades that we think those old ideas are “old” and don’t apply much.
The reasons for this are many.
But consider this weird idea.
That our brains have a lot of “excess capacity.”
Excess capacity is generally an economic term.
Say you’ve got a factory that produces 10,000 widgets during a boom time.
But it’s no longer boom time.
So the factory is producing only 1000 widgets per day.
All the extra widget producing equipment is “excess capacity.”
Since essentially the dawn of time, humans had to use ALL our brainpower just to stay alive.
Get food, not become food.
Deal with complex social issues in ancient agrarian societies.
All were closely tied with survival.
Today, pretty much everything comes easy.
So we use all our extra brain power to conjure up all kinds of problems.
Problems that never existed before.
And problems that are really imaginary.
One of the tragedies of this is we no longer can deal very well with obstacles.
Because of a weird combination of political promises and social media, every time we come up against a problem, we don’t think it’s OUR responsibility to fix it.
We think it’s somebody else’s responsibility.
Finger Pointing Planet
So the modern, brainwashed response to any problems is it is somebody else’s fault.
Now the hard money question.
Can you make a living by blaming others for your problems?
Is it a lucrative skills to creatively blame others for your problems?
Will it make you more sexually attractive to articulately blame the world for your problems?
The people who have become the richest did so by SOLVING other people’s problems.
The people who others are most attracted to are the people who CRUSH problems instead of spending all their time pointing fingers.
Which leads us back to those ancient ideas that keep popping up.
One very common idea, that pops up in ancient stoicism, among others is that the obstacle IS the way.
Meaning you want get rich, become famous, become more attractive, the way is THROUGH obstacles.
That when any problems pop up, running AT them and crushing them is the best course.
Let everybody else wait around for somebody to take them by the hand and lead them gently toward a guaranteed step by step plan to success.
Every single time you SEE a problem, of any kind this is an opportunity.
Luckily, in our train wreck society, they are EVERYWHERE.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
