If you’re like most guys, you hate the idea of getting rejected.
Even though it’s supposed to better than not doing anything (rejection is better than regret), it still sucks.
You think of something interesting to say, grab your balls and walk over there, in front of EVERYBODY, and then she says something like, “Oh, I don’t give out my phone number,” before turning back to her friends and giving you the cold shoulder.
Ouch.
Then you go back to your boys licking your wounds. For most guys, that’s that. If you’ve got a healthy sense of self-esteem, it’s not so bad. But for many guys, this can send you into a self sustaining loop of despair.
However, there’s another way to look at this, that most guys never think of.
Regardless of what happened, you can use that experience to do better next time.
Here’s how.
Later on that evening, simply review what happened in your mind. Then take one thing that you COULD have done better in the approach. Maybe you could have approached her sooner, or maybe you could have said something slightly different.
Just make one small change, then re-imagine the event, as if it COULD HAVE happened, rather than the way it actually did.
If you do this with enough emotion, you’ll actually be reprogramming your brain. So the next time you’re in a similar situation, your brain will actually remember the reprogrammed memory rather than the real one.
This, of course, will give you plenty more confidence.
This works even if you DON’T approach. Just remember that you did. Do this enough, and you’ll start to approach automatically, WITHOUT FEAR, and talk to her like it’s no big deal.
To make things even more successful, you can practice speaking to her with the powerful language patterns of sales objections. These are incredibly flexible language patterns that will get her mind spinning, and make you so compelling that no girl in her right mind would reject you.
The great thing is that even if you only say something like, “hi,” in real life, when you re-imagine those events, by practicing these patterns in your mind, will significantly improve your confidence for next time.
Since you’ll have so many things to potentially say, pretty soon you’ll be looking forward to approaching, just like going on rides at an amusement park.
