A famous quote from Einstein says that you can’t solve a problem from the same mindset that created the problem.
When the space shuttle blew up in the late 80’s it was a tragedy for a lot of reasons.
One because it killed a lot of people.
Two because there was a school teacher on board.
Wow, That Was Embarrassing
Three because it was during the cold war, and the Space Shuttle was one thing that we had over the Russians.
Three because it happened live on TV and everybody saw it happen in real time.
One of the ideas from World War Z that was in both the book and the movie was the idea of having 10th man.
This was the idea of always having one guy in any group whose job was to be a contrarian.
Never Agree With The Group
No matter what ideas the group came up with, it was the job of the tenth man to always disagree with them, no matter what.
She said that once you can get down to the level of meditation where you can separate your consciousness from you body, you can do some split testing on all your potential futures.

Then whatever you say will have the maximum result.
This means you’ll tell people exactly what they want to hear.
Whatever you say will sound perfect.
Perfectly Calibrated Words
You say the perfect thing to get them to do whatever you want.
You can get secret deals that nobody else can get.
You can get girls or guys to fall in love with you.
You can get into places that are closed to the public.
You can get access to forbidden meetings and groups.
You can find anybody that has any amount of power, and say the perfect phrase to get them to do whatever you want them to do.
Wall To Keep Out Zombies
In both the book and the movie, Israel was the only country that employed the tenth man theory, which allowed them to build a wall before the zombie apocalypse.
Every other country waited until it was too late.
This was the opposite of what NASA did.
They’d created a culture where even talking about problems were forbidden.
Which allowed problems to keep growing until they literally exploded.
That’s Easy For You To Say
Einstein’s famous quote is like many self-help ideas.
Easy to say, easy to remember, easy to understand.
But really, really hard to implement.
In real life, space shuttles blow up.
Most problems pop up and will continue until they are forced to be dealt with.
You Will Deal With It
Which means you can either deal with problems, or they will deal with you.
Whether they be exploding space shuttles or invading zombies.
