No Spoon
The idea of “red pill” is very compelling.
But it also can be very misleading.
Or even a misdirection.
The term red pill generally means to see things they way they really “are.”
To the extent you can do this, you can increase your success.
Unfortunately, people tend to hide behind the red pill.
It’s almost always a cope rather than a doorway to enhanced strategies.
Just consider two world views.
The way you THINK things are.
The way things REALLY are.
And suppose you start off by having a set of outcomes you’d like to achieve over the course of your life.
Money, love, relationships, career, etc.
But you are operating from a model of reality that ISN’T correct.
This would make it HARD to get your outcomes.
Money, love, relationships, career, etc.
But then you get “red pilled.”
Somebody tells you how things REALLY work.
Operational Advantage
Since you have a BETTER idea of the way reality works, you could develop a BETTER collection of strategies to get those things you want.
Money, love, relationships, career, etc.
So a response to being red pilled could be:
Cool!
Now I understand how things REALLY work!
That means I can INCREASE the likelihood of getting what I want.
But today, people have the OPPOSITE response to so called “red pills.”
Often, being red pilled is used as an excuse to NOT get in the game.
This is a very curious response.
But even deeper, understanding how the world really works is NOT POSSIBLE.
Sure, you can understand the basics of human nature.
Everybody wants those same things.
Money, love, relationships, career, etc.
But HOW people go after those things changes day to day.
The future is IMPOSSIBLE to predict.
You can generally, but not specifically.
Sure, attractive people get more attention than non-attractive people.
People are kind of locked into their own references to social proof and authority.
Human Nature
People will spend the least amount of effort to get the most amount of stuff.
But these are general guidelines.
Even in a very constrained, one on one competitive situation, you can NEVER truly understand how your opponent TRULY is.
You can study the strategies of your opponent for YEARS and still not have any clue about how they “really” operate.
This is why sports is so intriguing.
NOBODY knows how it’s going to come out.
All you know for sure is BOTH sides WANT to win.
That’s the extent you can “red pill” any outcome.
So what’s the answer?
Forget about any “red pill” truth about reality.
Instead, just get in the game and have some fun.
Open your self to the never ending emotional flow that makes life so fantastic.
Conquer Life
Let all the goofs on the sidelines compete for the best “red pill” idea.
Get in the game and get some.
