Self Awareness
One of the most perplexing scientific ideas is self awareness.
Of being aware of our own thoughts we think them.
Of being aware of our own words as we speak them.
Of being aware of the never ending loop between brain and speech and thought and ideas and memories and predictions of futures.

What makes this even more confusing is our language is really only capable of describing short term, macro objects and interactions.

Of course, since anything like this, that demonstrates psychic ability needs to be treated very carefully by academics.
On one hand, they very much want to study this.
They very much want to learn about this.
But they also realize that if the wrong people find out about this, then it might be hard to secure funding.
Show Me The Money
If you want to do research, you need to get money.
But if any academic is thought to be pursuing paranormal ideas, then these paranormal ideas my ruin their career.
And ruining careers can lead to unexpected blowback.
One of the latest theories to emerge from this is the idea of emergent conscious on multiple levels.
On one level, we have a brain with 100 billion neurons.
Electro Chemical Robots
Each neuron is a electro chemical biological robot.

Even more interesting is when you consider that each one of these planets with sentient beings like you is separated by speed of light constraints.
Even more interesting is the idea of the time it takes for the universe to expand enough so that you have 100 billion life sustaining planets all separate by relativistic constraints.

This same time might be the same time required for intelligent life to evolve on each planet.

When you read academic papers on a surface structure level, it seems like basic academic research.
But if you learn to look inside the words being spoken here, you can find incredibly deep truths.
