Science Fiction Story
There is this really cool story by I think Ray Bradbury.
It’s about this planet that has a bunch of people.
The first use fire, then they discover agriculture, then they have an Industrial Revolution and then they invent nuclear weapons.
Then they use the weapons on themselves, bombing themselves back to the stone age.
Everybody Dies Sometime
In the history of planet Earth, there have been 5 major die offs.
Five times in the history of life on Earth, when everybody is just kind of humming along, and then everybody just dies.
It’s kind of easy to understand when you think in terms of various levels of nested eco systems in equilibrium with themselves and both higher and lower order ecosystems.
Like a humongous system of standing waves.
Eventually, you’ll get a point where is a seemingly yet random coordinated minimum where everybody just dies.
Right now, most people agree we are entering into mass global near extinction event number six.
One common mistake is to believe that our current society of abundance is the new normal.
Only A Short Blip
From pretty much any angle you look at it from, a post Industrial society is very likely NOT going to be the new normal for very long.
From a pure energy consideration, the average person uses 300 million BTU’s per year.
Or to make it simple, a little less than one million BTU’s per day.
One BTU is about .25 calories.
So each person uses about 250,000 calories of energy per day.
This is only possible with the massive amount of energy available in fossil fuels.
Millions of Pushup Slaves
For comparison, if you do pushups for a solid minute, you’ll burn 7 calories.
So far, nothing comes close.
There have been some very ancient documents found recently.
The language was originally thought to be extra-terrestrial, but some beliee it’s a very, very ancient human language.
Long before any fossil record indicates.
This Doesn’t Look Good
The story these documents tell is particularly terrifying.
It turns out there were a race of humans that lived on Earth several hundred million years ago.
They were in our exact position.
They had discovered fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels are called fossil fuels because they literally come from fossils.
Fossil Fuels Are Renewable
But takes a couple million years to turn organic matter into hydrocarbons.
Essentially, the energy in many, many thousands of years of living things is compressed into this very dense energy source.
So every few million years or so, all the living things from the past few million years or so have been slowly turned into hydro carbon based fossil fuels.
Like taking a thousand years worth of forests, and the energy that you’d get from burning the wood, and compressing it into a hydrocarbon form.
Coal Is Super Compressed Wood
This is why burning coal gives you much more energy than burning wood.
The previous iteration of humans realized, just like we are realizing, that the supply of fossil fuels will soon run out and they would face extinction.
And they back then that it would take a few million years until the Earth’s reserves of fossil fuels would replenish themselves.
But then found another source of energy.
Unlimited Free Energy
An unlimited source without cost.
Without financial cost.
Without environmental cost.
Everybody thought it was a dream come true.
But it turned into a horrific nightmare.
Bad Idea, Son
Because it turns out that giving humans an unlimited source of free energy is a very bad idea.
We can only function within a system of natural constraints.
Without these natural constraints we actually revert back to our most primitive selves.
Soon after the discovery of this free energy, there were massive wars to see who could monopolize this.
And whoever did could easily rule the entire world with impunity.
Let Loose The Evil
They created farms specifically to grow humans.
Killing people at will.
Raising people for food.
Raising people purely to become sex slaves.
Raising people to be purposely sacrificed to the gods of power.
Soon all humans died.
Please Do Not Proceed
These documents are a warning.
To not go beyond fossil fuels.
To simply accept our fate.
That the existence of fossil fuels, and the abundant energy they provide is only meant to be temporary.
The Hydrocarbons Will Run Out
Ask any scientist, especially scientists for the big oil companies, they’ll tell you it’s only a matter of time before the oil runs out.
And when it does, nothing they know of so far comes close to producing 300 million BTUs per year.
If you had a thousand strings, all vibrating at it’s own frequency, it would only be a matter of time before they all reached a minimum, or they all reached a maximum.
Resonance Is Eventual
And right now, we are entering into a time of minimum.
Which means we are on the cusp of a great mass extinction event.
They’ve found a lot of previous societies that knew they were going extinct.
They invariably find evidence of cannibalism.
It seems that it’s human nature that when the food runs out, a switch goes off.
Man’s Gotta Eat
And we start to eat each other.
Every million years or so these people would repeat the same cycle.
After bombing themselves literally back to the stone age, they would slowly go through all the same cycles.
Stone age, bronze age, iron age, fossil fuel age, nuclear age, and then back to the stone age.
We Are So Unique!
But each time they started in the stone age and progressed through all the subsequent stages, they always thought they were the first ones.
This is why Ray Bradbury is such a cool writer.
He forces you to think differently about things.
To see things from a different perspective.
To understand things in a new way.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
