NAWALT – Red vs. Blue Pill

July 21, 2019 By George Hutton Last update: July 21, 2019

Red Pill Beliefs

There are a lot of ideas recently associated with Red Pill.

When it comes to male-female relations, a very common idea is that women are very similar.

That women are hypergamous and women will always be looking to move up a level, so to speak.

The opposite of this is idea is that it’s possible to create a life long, mutually beneficial, monogamous relationship.

Red Team Blue Team

This view, sometimes called the blue pill view, have the idea that not all women or like that.

This idea is commonly referred to as NAWALT as it is a very common point of contention between red pillers and blue pillers.

Universal People

There was an anthropologist named Brown who wanted to create a set of Human Universals.

He wanted to find basic human traits that were shared by every culture regardless of how advanced or primitive.

This is similar to Noam Chomsky’s idea of Universal Grammar.

Similar Tongues

The idea that all languages of Earth are really only one language, just several different dialects.

Humans are all obviously part of the same species.

We all have the same instinctive needs.

Instinctive needs for food, sex, companionship, and social acceptance and validation.

You may say that the deeper you go, the more similar we are.

Deep To Surface

The higher up on the surface, of how we satisfy our needs, the more different we are.

We all need to eat, but we all have our own unique collection of favorite foods.

We all have a need to create relationships, but we all have a different idea of our ideal relationship partner.

Socrates was famous for being able to disprove anything anybody believed.

Not A Good Party Skill

This, of course, got him killed, and is not recommended as a useful party skill.

Marcus Aurelius, the orator and Roman Emperor, famously said that everything is opinion.

One idea is that the things we believe as true have nothing to do with the content of the belief, rather what it does for us.

A very common meta belief structure is the deeper instinctive ideas associated with a belief.

Socially Proofed Beliefs

For example, a belief will be much easier to believe if it has social proof.

A belief will be much easier to believe if it is validated by any recognized authority figure.

A belief will be enhanced by commitment and consistency, a verified Cialdini law of persuasion.

Further, beliefs will be strengthened by an in-group vs. out-group comparison.

Find The Four Everywhere

You can find these four elements in some of the craziest beliefs ever.

Which, from a purely objective standpoint, if you were to look for the most important variables that make up the strength with which our brains hang onto a belief, the least would be the belief itself.

Nazi Germany, the Rwandan Genocide, the Armenian Genocide, and plenty of suicide cults had those same four elements.

Four Main Variables

Social proof, authority, commitment and consistency and us vs. them.

One theory is the definition of any human culture is how we express our deeper instincts.

From the food, to the customs and even the religion.

Brown found plenty of similarities between people.

What’s That Behind You?

Everybody is afraid of snakes.

Women tend to run families, where men tend to run cities and larger governments.

Adults tend to alter their speech when speaking to children.

Baby Talk

There seems to be a universal baby talk that we all use.

We all have what Brown called “magical beliefs” in a world beyond what we can see.

You might call this the God instinct.

I suppose if finding a life long monogamous relationship is important to you, then you’ll find a suitable partner that also believes that life long monogamous relationships are important.

Thinker Thinks and Prover Proves

And if you believe that all women will eventually leave you for somebody better, that is what you will find as well.

Confirmation bias doesn’t really care what you believe.

It’s job is only to help you find it.

Redirect Your Confirmation Bias

Luckily, since beliefs are not based on truth, or logic, this means you can believe whatever you want.

So why not build in some positive beliefs that will help you get what you want?
