It’s essentially guaranteed that our elite overlords will tweak their own DNA for eternal life.
And they’ll tweak our DNA to become much more tasty should they decide to eat us.
Some may even evolve to become self-aware.
Post Hypnotic Emergence
Which means not only will the quality of the post hypnotic suggestion degrade over time, but it might spontaneously evolve self awareness.
And as you already likely know, hypnotizing commands are hard to resist.
Because this is designed to be hidden.
And being hypnotized by a hidden element is something not a lot of people with withstand without suffering negative consequences.
Tractor Licensing
Even worse is some large farm equipment producers don’t sell the equipment any more.
When you buy a tractor for example, you aren’t really buying it.
Your paying for a license to use the technology embedded in the tractor.
Which means if you violate the license agreement, you might end up in prison.
Buy Clothes Every Other Day
Even thought he brought some cheap clothing, it turned out that taking them to a coin operated laundry mat was too time consuming.
And getting them cleaned at the hotel was too expensive.
So he ended up buying a new set of clothing from a street vendor every couple of days.
