Persuasion Experiments
There have been a lot of cool experiments done to demonstrate the various triggers of influence that operate outside of our conscious awareness.
In a social proof experiment, they had a guy stand on a corner, and stare up into an empty sky, but pretending that he was looking at something incredibly interesting.
They had a bunch of hidden cameras, and only a few people glanced up at the sky, and when they did, they only looked for less than a second.
They spent most of their time looking at this weird guy that was staring at an empty sky with a focused expression on his face.
Con Man Origins
The phrase con man is usually associated with TV characters to trick people out of their money.
But the word con, is short for confidence.
They are called confidence men because they are very, very confident in what they are talking about.
Another way of saying this is they have incredibly strong frames.
And since most people have relatively weak frames, when you talk to people with a strong frame, you can get pretty much anybody to believe anything.
Revenge Of The Frame
There was this young actor that was extremely skilled, and he was in love with another actress that was only pretending to love him.
She was also being seduced by a powerful director, who wanted her on his casting couch.
And she was willing to eagerly comply, but she wanted to get rid of her love sick boyfriend first.
Let Me Dump Beta Boy First
She told this to the powerful director, sure that once he was out of the picture, she’s be a world famous actress.
The director obliterated the young actors career, by blacklisting him from all of Hollywood.
But this young actor vowed to get his revenge on the entire industry, and revenge he got.
Spiritual Hypnotist
There is this hypnotist that has a theory based on our spiritual origins.
That when we decided to become physical beings, we did so solely by shifting, or significantly limiting, our beliefs.
That our spiritual souls have been purposely put in these physical bodies and your perception of who you are is limited by your five senses.
Belief Re-Calibration
But this hypnotist developed a way to, still within your physical body, re-align your beliefs to your deeper, more truer, spiritual self.
If you learn how to do this, you will decouple your limitations to your physical body.
You can learn how to fly.
You can learn how to astrally project yourself.
You can learn how to read minds and implant thoughts.
Start Slow – Be Careful
Of course, you have to start slowly and carefully.
He recommends that you start by slowly learning how to levitate yourself in the safety of your own home.
That you practice small acts of telekinesis in your own home.
Traps Of Social Proof
The biggest obstacle is social proof.
You must develop overwhelming belief in your abilities to overcome the negative social proof that will come from others.
Social proof has, in it’s origins, the collective consciousness from a spiritual side.
On the spiritual side, we are all part of the same collective consciousness.
So when you take the collective spiritual consciousness and fractionate it into different physical beings, each with the false belief that we are separate from one another, the results is nearly impossible to avoid social proof.
The Russian Con
He pretended to be a tech genius from Russia.
He spent plenty of time calibrating his accent, and his back story.
He spent five full years developing this character.
So when he got hired at a huge tech firm in Silicon Valley, his frame was incredibly so strong.
Long Game Destruction
Their biggest client was the movie studio that had blacklisted him.
His frame was so strong that as he sabotaged the studio, the director, and the actor, nobody believed it was him.
Con men are identical in frame strength to cult leaders.
Cons Cults and Presidents
The only difference is cult leaders have such a strong frame, they believe their own insanity.
Very much like politicians.
But for confidence men, they can create an artificial frame from scratch, a means to an end.
Which, from a flexibility of skill level, makes them more skilled that cult leaders and politicians, both whom believe their own insanity.
Now You’ve Got A Trend
The next step was to put five people on the corner.
All looking up into sky with focused interest.
With one person staring up in the sky, few people looked up in the sky, they all looked at the person.
Overwhelm Belief Systems
But with five people staring up into the sky, nobody looked at the people, they all looked up in the sky.
And a few times, a crowd developed, and the congruence, frame strength and social proof combined to make an object appear.
This was so believable that even the study participants, that originally believed they were staring up at nothing, suddenly believed they were looking at something fantastic.
