Dreams To Money
Once upon a time there was a woman.
She had a horrible dream.
Some monster that was not dead, not alive.
Yet the monster was somehow moving toward her.
Most of us have nightmares.
The ones that wake us up, and we even say out loud:
The young lady who had that dream had just visited a poet.
So maybe her dreams were inspired by the strange poetry.
Most of us would go back to sleep, and maybe remember the dream in the morning.
Or remember it just to tell our friends about a weird dream.
Not this young lady.
She wrote it down, and used it for an inspiration for a book.
A book that turned into a best seller.
Maybe you’ve seen a movie?
Another guy had a dream once that he was watching a bunch of cows on farm.
And they were all huddled up against a fence.
The fence turned out to be electric.
And then the farmer switched on the electric fence.
The cows moved away from the fence.
It’s All Relative
However, from this dreaming guy’s perspective he saw the cows all move back at once.
But from inside his dreaming mind, he also understood the farmer saw them jump away from the fence one at a time.
Most of us would wake up, and remember some weird dream about cows.
Not this guy.
He used this to help him develop a theory, that one event is viewed differently by different people.
Based on their relationship to the event in question.
Eventually, this guy, turned this “dream idea” into a theory.
A theory of relativity.
Two theories of relativity.
A general theory of relativity.
And a special theory of relativity.
Of course, you know this guy is Einstein.
Day Dreaming Genius
He was also a daydreamer as well.
Not a daydreamer dreaming about girls and what not.
Well, he no doubt was, but he also used his daydreams to help understand the universe.
Like once, he was watching some window cleaners.
Up on one of this super high platforms to clean windows of tall buildings.
And he imagined what it would be like for them to fall to their death.
But specifically, why they WOULDN’T feel the force of gravity while they were falling.
This purposely created day dream helped him to understand gravity.
If you don’t dream, you can’t sleep, and that will cause problems.
But few people ever USE their dreams for any deliberate reason.
Which is a shame, given all the cool things people have invented from leveraging their dreaming minds.
Wonderful stories, inventions, advances in chemistry and physics.
Using your dreams to help you get whatever you would be like adding a super genius “idea guy” to your team.
And he’ll do all the work while you sleep.
