Since cycles are a deep part of the natural world, and trigonometry deals in cycles, its discovery helped humans to understand a lot more than they did previously.

This will allow you to read people’s facial expressions with near telepathic accuracy.
Meaning you’ll know exactly what to say to them to make them feel whatever emotion you’d like them to feel.
Easy Math Decision
What is perhaps one of the most under-appreciated decision of the original inventors of trigonometry is how many degrees are in a circle.
They realized that there are 365 days in a year, so when treating circles, it would make sense to put 365 degrees in a circle.
But lucky for us, they knew that defining a circle of having 365 degrees would be very problematic.
The Degree Decision
So they rounded down to 360.
They could have rounded up to 370, but 360 is much more easily divisible by a lot more numbers than 370.
Which means that all the common angles, 360, 180, 90, 45, all these are a function of a conscious decision by the inventors of trigonometry.
A conscious decision they made so that dealing with circles and triangles would be much easier.
