The right words in the right order can do wonderful things.

Deep Similarities
Sure, we all have our definitions of these things.
Just like we all have our own favorite foods.
But deep down, these all have the same structure.
Just like deep down, all food has the same structure.
Protein, fat, carbohydrates, various spices, etc.
What are the things that drive humans?
They are equally pretty basic.
Authority, social proof, scarcity, commitment and consistency.
If you can attach only a few of these to an idea or a product, you can sell a lot of products.
Or get a lot of people to jump on whatever bandwagon you want them to.
Of course, all humans also have a kind of sixth sense for dishonesty.
So you need to be careful.
You need to carefully allude to these things.
Social proof, authority, scarcity, etc.
To follow the advice of Dale Carnegie.
Eliminate Ego
That you can get anybody to do anything so long as they believe it was their idea.
To carefully “hide” the ideas of social proof and authority and scarcity inside the message.
This is precisely what Milton Erickson did.
He figured out a way to hide basic advice in stories.
So his patients could discover it on their own.
Which would make them much, much more likely to act on it.
So how can we use this?
To take simple ideas about social proof, authority, scarcity, commitment and consistency, and attach them to an idea or product.
But attach them inside a well told story or a well written sales letter.
So your customers can find them on their own.
And truly believe they are their own ideas.
So you can get more people to do what you want.
So you can get more people to buy your products.
So you can be much more persuasive.
