Couple weeks ago I went downtown to check out this new age spiritual bookstore. I walked inside and had a lot of different crystals a lot of books on magic spells a lot of books on spirituality.
There was this interesting woman reading a book. There was something about her that was interesting that was beyond how she looked. Something about her energy which was odd because she wasn’t really moving.
Usually when you notice something interesting about somebody’s energy has to do with her non-verbal communication which usually indicates some type of movement but she was standing there keenly interested in this book she was reading.
What’s That Book About?
I kind of approached slowly. She was standing in front of this big shelf with a lot of books and I glanced the book she was reading. The book didn’t have any words on the cover or the back or the spine. It had a beautiful picture on there. It looked like an Impressionist painting, one that I kind of recognized, but it didn’t have anything written on the cover.
I asked her what the book was about and she said I’m not really sure. So we talked about that book. We talked about other books. We ended up going to get a cup of coffee at this coffee shop that was down the street.
I explained to her that I was just kind of passively interested in these kind of spiritual ideas and asked her how long she had been interested in spirituality and metaphysics and stuff like that.
She Was A Seeker
She explained that about 10 years ago she had a very high paying job she had a degree in marketing. An advanced degree in marketing. She was working as an executive assistant for a very very big and successful company but she wasn’t quite satisfied.
It wasn’t that she was lacking anything in the relationship area. She didn’t really feel that if she got into a relationship that would satisfy what she was missing. She was making a lot of money and her career was on a pretty good track. She felt comfortable that she would eventually meet somebody.
There was still something missing in her life and so she went to this spiritual introduction seminar. She said the guy that taught the seminar was very very interesting. He was very old, very kind, very quiet.
Long Confusing Stories
The entire seminar, all he did was tell stories. She didn’t know what to expect but she thought it would be of at least a little bit like school where he would say much of stuff, they would have some exercises, they would do some practice conversations or something.
All he did was tell stories entire time. The stories were very very deep, very convoluted, very confusing. They had the purpose of keeping the attendees in a complete state of confusion. In this kind of fantasy mindset for three days.
She only remembered one of the stories, of all the stories she heard, she only remembered one story in its complete beginning to and form. It was about this one woman that was an angel. A metaphysical angel. Her purpose in life was to find qualified candidates and show these qualified candidates or lead these qualified candidates to the storehouse of universal knowledge.
Storehouse Of Information
The storehouse of information from the past from the future and the present. The way she did that was she presented herself in the form of an old librarian. She had three criteria that people had to pass before she would show them to this storehouse of universal knowledge.
The first was they had to be an active seeker of spiritual information. They had actively be looking for some kind of spiritual knowledge and they presented this criteria to her by coming to the library. Coming up to her, starting a conversation and asking her if they had a large selection of spiritual books. That was the first criteria.
They had to approach her. They had had their own spontaneously generated interest and they had asked her about spiritual oriented books. The next criteria was they had to ask for her opinion that had to be able to open up themselves to the opinion of somebody else.
Had To Be Open And Curious
That came across to her as them coming up and asking if they had any spiritual books and if she had any recommendations. That would be the second criterion. Once they passed the second criteria then she would actively test them to see if they pass the third criteria.
The way she did that was they had to trust her. The way she tested them to see if they would trust her, she would start leading them to these spiritual books, but she would do so and kind of like a Harry Potter fashion where you look at the stacks of books in the library and you have a kind of an idea of how many rows there are. She would start leading them through these rows of books.
Somewhere along the line they would leave the normal world behind they would enter into the metaphysical world. She would make sure that it would take at least 20 minutes of walking up and down these seemingly infinitely long rows of books.
Had To Follow Silently
The whole purpose of this was to make sure that they would trust her the entire time. They would follow her the entire time without needing to know how much longer was going to be. Without need to know exactly where they’re going. Without making any kind of nervous comments about how big the library seemed.
If they passed those three criteria, she would show them to this very special room that didn’t look very big. It had may be about 20 books on the shelves. But if they had any kind of desire for any kind of information they would find it in those books. They could stay in this room as long as they wanted to.
Of course they still had to be constrained by their biology. There was no restroom in the in the room. There was no water fountain in the room so they had to stay in there as long as they could hold it, so to speak. They could stand there for two or three hours.
Had To Remember Everything
They couldn’t write anything down. They had to just have a desire for information, they had to read through these books and get that desire for information satisfied regardless what that information was. They would leave and when they came back she gave them one final and fourth criteria.
That is when they asked her to see that room again. She would kind of probe their soul, probe their memory to make sure that they didn’t use that information for selfish reasons. If they had used that information for selfish reasons, if they had used that information only benefit themselves then she would say I’m sorry but that room is no longer available.
If they used the information from that room to help themselves and others, then she would show them the room again. She would never explain this to anybody. She’d never explain these tests, but anyone who came to her and anyone who satisfied those four criteria but satisfy them in a natural organic spontaneous way, they would have unlimited access to this infinite store of knowledge from the past the present and the future.
Bits And Pieces
Most of the other story she didn’t remember. She only remembered bits and pieces from them, but she said in the months and years after that seminar she would be in some kind of a situation, she wouldn’t know what to do and she would suddenly remember one part of one story from that seminar. That would teacher exactly what to do.
The one thing that seminar told her was the one thing that she got from that seminar that was missing from her life before was to have an unquenchable desire for more information. Before that she had thought that maybe if she went to school she got her degree she got a job she may do so money she had a family she would find happiness. That wasn’t true for her.
In order to find happiness, she had to be on a continuous quest for more information. She had to be on a continuous quest for more knowledge. Once she discovered that unlimited desire within her to learn more information, to find out more stuff, to keep learning about metaphysics and spirituality, that’s when she was able to find true happiness.
About That Book
After she explained all this, we decided to look through the book that she was reading that didn’t have any words on the cover. She purchased it before we went to get coffee. The book seemed to be a collection of essays from different metaphysical teachers over the past couple of thousand years.
Some of the essays didn’t have any names in the front. The ones that had a name were the ones where they knew who wrote the essay. Most of them were these interesting metaphysical essays that don’t really have anything to do with the other stories.
I guess if you read this book together, if you understand all these different stories together, they’ll kind of clicked together in your own special way. You can use this information in the way that you think is best.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
