Friendly Dive Bar
I was out of town with a couple of friends.
We were sitting in this dive bar, kind of small, but a pretty friendly atmosphere.
All of a sudden this train went by, the entire bar started shaking, and the bartender started toss out these Nerf basketballs to everybody and they started tossing them at this Nerf basket behind the bar.
Means To An End
There’s an idea from evolutionary psychology that everything we hold in mind, whatever idea or belief of hallucination, is a means to an end.
We evolved a craving for knowledge just like we evolved a craving for food and sex and safety.
All of these are means to an end.
Deep Mind Operator
There is this extremely powerful hypnotist that doesn’t refer to herself as a hypnotist.
If you do manage to see him, the first few sessions will be about her digging into your brain to find your deepest dreams and desires.
Not the ones you think you should have, or you want to tell others, but the ones you really desire, that you may even be too afraid to admit to yourself.
I read an interesting academic research paper recently by a couple of theoretical physicists and a couple of theoretical psychologists.
Their their is that the laws of physics are not objectively true on their own.
The laws of physics, as we currently interpret them are a function of the confirmation bias of the collective intelligence of any society.
As individuals, we have confirmation bias to help us sort for things, to find what we are looking for, and to verify the beliefs we need to believe in order to protect our ego.
Nothing Is True
None of the things we believe individually are objectively true.
We eat food to maintain our existence.
We have sex to propagate our species.
Our ego is the main driving force of both, as we live in hierarchical societies.
Our ego is protected by our beliefs just like our heart and lungs are protected by our rib cage and our brain is protected by our skull.
Collective Confirmation Bias
Collectively it works the same way.
Because our brains are not capable of understanding anything in any way other than a means to an end, the evolution of society will necessarily create and evolution of collectively held beliefs.
And since the truth of reality is much more complex that our recent consciousness can imagine, most of what we believe, even within the sciences, is a hallucination.
Evolving Belief Systems
Every generation has a set of beliefs that they believe are true.
They all believe that what they believe is true is true, and what people believed before them was believed be true is no longer true.
Every society has a set of beliefs that they believe are the truest ideas ever held by any society.
Nevertheless, as society evolves, so do the beliefs.
What people a hundred years ago believed about science was later disproved.
Even Einstein believed very little of what we think of as scientifically true today will be believed as scientifically true in a hundred years or so.
The second set of sessions is when she digs deep into your past.
And finds all the events and the meanings you’ve given to them.
Then she carefully re-calibrates the meanings you’ve given to them, so they’ll be more aligned with your deepest dreams and desires.
Once re-calibrated, all you’ll need to do is live life on autopilot and everything you desire will happen automatically.
Easy and Automatic
More money, more sex, more fame, more skills, more love, more intelligence, everything you could ever hope for will happen automatically.
The best part is that for all parts of the procedure, she puts you in a very deep trance.
So you don’t even need to pay attention to this.
You can let your mind drift anywhere it wants to go while your memories are being calibrated.
And when this is over, you won’t remember any of this.
Blurring Unconscious Truths
This will all be a blur.
But if you look for evidence of this, you will find this.
This is the miracle of the human brain.
Whatever you want to find, whatever you want to verify, whatever you want to be true, will be true.
After all the chaos died down, my friends and I looked around, completely and absolutely discombobulated.
The train goes by every hour, and every half hour.
If you make a basket while the train is going by, you get a free drink.
Which is a fantastic marketing strategy.
Since everybody is shaking, few people make a basket.
At the same time, it’s kind of fun.
Like an external event that everybody is waiting for.
That keeps them in the bar.
And if you are a bartender, the name of the game is to keep people in the bar as long as possible.
Mind Persuasion has plenty of books and courses to teach you how to speak hypnotically and persuasively.
