They say whenever you give a speech, it’s a good idea to be introduced by somebody else.
And to reference you along with some kind of authority sounding ideas.
“Coming up next is Tom Jones, author of seven books and with years of experience teaching about X, Y and Z to students all around the world.”
This isn’t as difficult as it seems.
Not like the old Steve Martin joke about how to get a million dollars and not pay taxes.
“First, get a million dollars.”
But writing a book is pretty easy these days.
It may take a while to formulate a few ideas and write a couple dozen pages.
But once you’ve written a book, you are an author.
Being introduced as an author creates a lot of authority.
What about teaching subject X, Y and Z to people all around the world.
That book you’ve written teaches people, right?
So, give it away as a free download.
People all around the world will download it.

Now you’re an author who has taught people all around the world.
Sounds pretty good, right?
Doing this before speeches will allow you to say things and have those things believed.
Whereas if you just walk out and start talking, people will be wondering who the heck you are.
All of this is just a simple “trick” to become more authoritative.
But what about in social situations?
Nobody’s going to introduce you when you walk into the bar or club.
Here’s where it gets kind of cool.
Imagine being a lost hunter gatherer.
And you found a tribe that seems kind of friendly.
So far, it’s only the women and children.
The dudes are all out hunting.
When the dudes came back, would it be difficult to see who was in charge?
It would be pretty easy.

The guy all the other guys defer to.
All through body language.
You can easily exhibit this authority through body language.
This is kind of hard to notice for dudes, but for women, they’ve got X-ray vision into differences between men when it comes to authority.
And it’s very easy to BUILD authority.
Because if you have authority over your own life (most dudes don’t) that will drive everything else.
This can easily be achieved with some very directed, daily journaling.
So you will more powerfully know who you are, and where you are going.
And this will be something other people notice.
