Free T Shirt
I was out driving when I heard they were giving away t shirts.
Some radio station said they were parked a couple blocks away and the first 50 people would get a free T-shirt.
I showed up and they had a big van with the radio station on the side, but there were a bunch of people already.
I parked and got out and got in line.
I ended up talking to this lady that was in front of me.
She said she was a yoga teacher.
I was curious about her marketing strategy.
There’s a lot of different ways to teach yoga these days.
Teach on YouTube, teach classes in big gyms, or open up your own shop.
I guess having your own shop would be ideal, but it would be the hardest.
She said that’s what she did, and that had been her goal the entire time, and only recently had she started to achieve consistent success.
It all started when she went to this meditation seminar on how to find your spirit guide.
It turns out that finding your spirit guide is a lot more complicated than a lot of metaphysical gurus would have you believe.
Spirit guides aren’t like magic wish fairies.
Or gumball machines where you put in a quarter and out pops some spiritual advice.
Not Free Stuff Givers
Spirits aren’t just hanging around waiting for dumb humans to show up and expect to be given cookie cutter easy secrets for success.
Spirit guides are very much like us.
They aren’t going to help us for free.
They need something in return.
It’s not like we’re little kids and our spirit guides are like our parents who just give us free stuff for no reason.
She said that finding a spirit guide is kind of like finding a thesis adviser.
Mutual Benefit Required
It’s essentially like asking for a job.
You’ve got to talk to a lot of professors and not only find one who is doing research that you are interested in.
You’ve got to find one who believes you will actually help them.
They don’t do research because they want to make dumb grad students feel important.
They need to do research to get grants and get published.
So you’ve got to demonstrate your ability to help them AT LEAST as much as you want them to help you.
Brush Up Your Resume
So when you look for a spirit guide, if you just float around in the spirit world looking for free stuff, you won’t find a lot of spirits willing to help.
In fact, this is the main reason for negative entity possessions.
People go looking into the spirit world for free stuff, and these negative entities see them as easy marks.
They take advantage of gullible humans, have some fun, and ruin their lives.
So the first part was coming up with a list of ideas on how you can help your spirit.
The next was creating some criteria on how to qualify your spirit.
Then they talked about negotiation tactics to get the best deals with a potential spirit guide.
She said they did all this through meditation and subconscious communication with the spirit world.
But once she had a spiritual partner, her business took off.
Turns out the secret of operating a successful yoga studio goes way beyond yoga techniques.
You’ve got to give your customers a place where they can look forward to going.
You have to give your customers something they absolutely cannot find anywhere else.
Once Set They’re Really Helpful
That’s where her spirit guide really came in handy.
By communing regularly with the spirit world, she can find some deep insights into what most people really want, but aren’t getting anywhere else.
Give this to people, and your business will always thrive.
I think we were number sixty three and sixty four, so we didn’t get T-shirts.
Trick Me Into Free Advertising, Will You?
We got bumper stickers instead, which is kind of useless.
A bumper sticker is like a non-stop advertisement for the radio station.
A t-shirt has more control, where you decide to wear it, etc.
Lots Of People Want Free Stuff
I was surprised how quickly the people showed up.
I was no more than two minutes away, and that was too slow.
But I did meet some cool people, which is always a good thing.
